I use both but I prefer Leonardo. it's much more user friendly and the new updates make it very competitive. Plus it has a NSFW tab that you can toggle if you want to do things a little more R-rated.

Thanks for the information! I always enjoy exploring the lastest design tools for the creative process and that includes AI; however, that floral pattern demo only emphasized the need for designers to actually “design”. Not only was that pattern banal and uninspiring, ...it wasn’t even in a proper repeat.🙄 IMO for a professional outcome in AI trained individuals, who know what the final product should look like, remain the key to achieving good design results no matter what the tool.

Thank you for telling us about Leonardo AI. It is generating prompts the other art AI tools kick out as containing flagged words. Cannot generate Norman Rockwell type images on some of the sites if so much as mention child, adolescent, or anything similar. Also elsewhere cannot generate business images if mention certain negative emotions or descriptions. Totally innocuous image attempts but the excessively aggressive stance of some of the sites makes creating certain ai images impossible. You are a lifesaver! Thx
It cost more then 1 token to create a great picture. When you enable things you come up to around 16-18 tokes for each picture. But MidJourney it still better.

Generating 100 images means you'll either have 100 images that look like what everybody else is doing or 2-6 images you're fairly happy with.
Yea, I pay for it & burn through tons of tokens before I get something that I really like. I did a bunch of cool comic book character images it's a pain to make sure they have 5 fingers but I've created cool stuff regardless 🤣

I tried etsy just now. It only allows 20mb. My files are beyond 190mb since I've included PDF. And the resolution is 1920x1920 for each of them. How did others surpass the limit of the upload?? Most of them have like a hundreds to thousands of pattern stuff. How did they do it??

One of the benefits to having a paid plan is that you can make your portfolio private so that the general public can't access your images unless they have your approval or you post them elsewhere, for example on social media. Anything I use for print on demand merchandise or other profitable use gets put on the blockchain as an NFT so that I can prove ownership to combat counterfeit print on demand merch. I retain full commercial rights as the creator, and I mint NFTs on the ethereum blockchain for people who want to buy a transferable license to use my artwork commercially. Whenever a transfer of ownership occurs, I get a royalty.

For example, if you generated something for your commercial use, since another person can see what you did, they could just use the exact same thing you've generated for their use, no? Thanks for your nuanced questions! There's that possibility, but the chances of that happening are VERY slim unless maybe your picture gets featured on the Trending page. And you might have noticed that a lot of images on Trending are character concept art or realistic portraits, not patterns.
Since a lot of people are generating images with Leonardo AI every second of the day, it would be very unlikely that someone would be able to even find you and look at your page, let alone steal your images. If you really want private generations and are serious about AI image generation, you can choose the $10 starter plan. But I think for anyone who's just starting out, it's a fair tradeoff.

Nothing stops your images being stolen unless you pay for privacy but thats not guaranteed either.

Too many YT clickbaters are using this "Don't use Midjourney" tag. Stinks of sleazy competitor companies paying to unfairly downgrade a superior rival, IMO. My response is always to select... "Don't recommend channel." That's a *FOREVER* solution to dirty dealing. I'd highly recommend it.
I'm not getting paid from Leonardo AI. As far as I know they don't even have an affiliate program. People are always on the lookout for a free AI alternative, that's what videos like this are for. You might not be the intended audience, but please don't encourage people to kill a channel because you don't agree with their view :)

Impressive but its when an image is listed on an etsy store that the real work begins. Getting people to see your stuff and actually buy it is the real hard part.
Yeah, all these videos stating you can make all this money, but they never really talk about that part. They make it seem like you just knock out some images and then boom... lots of money.

Great video, but super confused by the ending. So i've made my pattern, previewed it on Printify, signed up to Etsy... Surely I have to point my product in the direction of Printify?! I feel like i'm hugely mis-selling? I've essentially uploaded a pattern to Etsy, uploaded pictures of a face mask (using my pattern), and all i'm selling is the image of the pattern. That doesn't feel right? Am I missing something?

Thanks for the support! You just need to connect your Etsy store to your Printify dashboard. Fyi you need to connect so that your Printify products can be listed on Etsy, not the other way around. If you're just selling the pattern as a digital download (as oppose to POD which is essentially selling physical products printed with your design) you need to create a collection of patterns as they only list patterns in bundles on Etsy and no need to connect to Printify at all. Good luck with your store :)

It's just a rumor to scare off low effort creators who think they can just steal content and slap together AI generated stuff to make money. TH-cam wants content that's creative, original and bring value to the viewers. The voices themselves are not the problem but the lack of effort and low quality content. Even AI generated content can be monetized, as long as they fit the above requirements.
Plus I highly doubt that the TH-cam algorithm's AI as almighty as it is, is sophisticated enough to distinguish between a highly realistic AI voice and a human voice with a REALLY great mic. Even humans sometimes can't, as you're the only one who's pointed it out!

Leonardo as a serious "free" competitor? Perhaps six months ago. Today, not so much. It comes with a content moderation filter, rather poor photorealism, public generations unless you upgrade (so you cannot really test it without sharing your creations with anyone), and it's eating tokens like some kind of deranged Pacman. So no, Leaonardo is NOT a competitor anymore, and please don't call this free! To achieve Midjourney quality, you will have to pay to unlock all features. And if you're willing to pay, try Catbird instead. It's miles ahead of Leonardo in image quality.

You can use Leonardo AI for creative architecture. I haven't experimented with it, but it's among one of the many things you can create.

Great that there is a free alternative. On the other hand, it's one thing to be "free", as in "you are the product"... What would be great to see is an open-source competitor, as in, everyone can participate in tweaking it, and it can be used offline reducing the privacy risks.
There's Stable Diffusion which is open sourced and can be used to generate images offline. It's just a bit trickier to set up, not very beginner friendly, and require sufficiently capable GPU to run smoothly.

@@Dominick7 Your GPU works. Yeah it's more difficult than Midjourney, not just in terms of prompts but also the settings and installation process. But as a tradeoff it gives you a ton more control over your end results & you get to add different LoRA models and plugins.

I want to see an opensource downloadable app/program, you just download it and boom, have full control over it, do whatever you want whenever you want with no stupid restrictions or limitations any sort.
I use Leonardo paid version and if you want to generate images that compete with MJ you will need to have access to all the tools that aren’t available using the free version. A little deceiving.

I made an image on leonardo and added a transparent back ground but now it seems to dark. Is there any way to brighten an image on the site?
If you need to brighten an image, you can take it to Canva and adjust an image's contrast, brightness and etc. Leonardo doesn't have an image editor.

Connect your Etsy store to Printify, then you'll be able to list the product on Etsy to sell.
Yes Leonardo is extremely good, but to get the best results, it is still better to get the paid versions, which allow access to some more features. Also, it is better to learn some prompt engineering using the Stable Diffusion standard documentation.

Midjourney is still the best option
All those pictures you saw on the front page of Leonardo AI. Those images are made from Leonardo AI’s premium features. In reality you don’t get very high quality images with free version unless you are a prompt master.
Well, the more you do it, the better you get. No one becomes a prompt master overnight :)
The fact so many have to even mention midjourney in their posts proves midjourney is the best midjourney is god
why should people stop using midjourney, when it's by far the best ai art program out there?
The claim of 150 images per day at no cost is misleading. Each action you undertake may consume more than a single credit. Nevertheless, this remains a commendable offer, allowing daily practice in image generation and editing without charge. I would be hesitant to invest in a service that requires prior practice to derive value. In that regard, OpenAI's Dall-e is rather underwhelming.
Completely free is an overstatement.

No, but there's an option to remove the background of an image that costs 5 tokens.

1 tokem prompts mean no options, 1 image per prompt, and no prompt magic. You can do this but images won't look anything like your intentions. 2 token prompts allow prompt magic, but only 1 image, and a small size with no upscaling.
Without the paid Alchemy feature, some reaults are hit or miss. Extra body parts, morphing, glitches, etc.
It's pretty much impossible to create 150 usable images per day. That bit of info you said is misleading.
Tbh even with Alchemy, the results would be a hit or miss too. I've had the same problem with awkward hands and postures, just with a more polished look. The more detail you add, the more information Leonardo has to process and sometimes a part of the prompt doesn't go well with another. For example your dimension might not be ideal for the prompt you use, like using a landscape dimension for a detailed character concept art or something character oriented, it's going to try to fill in the gap with more stuff.
Leonardo models are well trained, so you don't always need any extra options, which means yes, you can create perfectly usable images that cost only 1 token. No prompt magic needed. If the images don't look anything like your intentions, tweak your prompt. It's the most crucial part of the process. Unfortunately I wasn't able to cover that here because there's a lot of basic design knowledge involved and this was meant as a basic introduction. Also you can create more than one account, and it doesn't take a lot at all to log out from one account and log in to another.

It's possible! As I've shown in the video you can sell your digital prints on marketplaces, or open a print on demand store, or even sell your AI art on Fiverr. If you want to see results quicky you'd have to spend a bit on ads to get your products in front of the right audience. As for how many hours, it differs from person to person. It could be a side hustle or a full time thing if you're willing to put in the work. Thanks for your questions.

First time using AI images can you tell me how to stop the extra fingers, hands, and feet?
That's just an AI thing haha but you'd need to add those to the negative prompt field; for example: low quality, blurry, extra fingers, ugly hands, extra limbs, double features etc. I'm not adding any negative prompt here because I'm not creating images of people.
But make sure you're using the dimension the model you're using is trained for since that tends to help a bit with the double feature syndrome, if it happens with most of your generations your prompt probably is the culprit. It's likely something you input conflicts with the other info and you need to identify it and switch it up. Hope that helps!

Without Alchemy it's hard to generate good usable images....
Haha I'd have to disagree, Alchemy has only been introduced for 2 months and before Alchemy existed people were able to create usable images too. Some of the images I created in my second video (all created using Leonardo AI) only cost me 1 token. It all comes down to mastering your prompt and going through trial and error. You can also look at other people's generations and study their prompts. You can't expect perfection every time, but it can get pretty close.
@@AIHustlewise I accept good prompt is main key But I noticed most of the recent good images in the explorer page are generated using AIchemy. Even though in this video 1:29 the image also generated using AIchemy pipeline..
I think you mean the “Trending” section (It’s on by default when you’re on the home page), and in this particular tab they feature the best looking images, reasonably. Next to that one is the “New” tab where you can see what people are generating in real time; and “Top” which features the most liked images of all times. Here you can find a lot of images that didn’t use Alchemy OR Prompt Magic. Keep exploring!

You can upscale it, and upscale further with other AI tools. But as long as you’re in the green with a high enough DPI, you should be okay.
it takes 6 credits to generate 1 image, not. This means, you can generate 25 images per day
yeah thats not many, considering it takes a few spins to get something right. its rarely perfect first generation
