This is a prime example of what logging is all about. The part that draws someone to this like a moth to a flame is the low budget solutions to great big problems that feel amazing when you can pull them off. Usually when you do this stuff you are scared shitless but for some reason you just beg for more, damn i love this job.
Love this video ! Can you repost this so other subscribers can enjoy ? I didn't know about it till I heard you mention it on Dirt purrrrrrfects podcast . I think it's timeless.
Hey Wade this the video that got me hooked onto your channel four years ago and it reminds me of the hair brained stuff we pull off down here in far southwestern virginia and the steep hollars and ridges that makes us nervous as cat coming down with a drag
WHOOLY CRAP tater I just found this one!! yeehaww boys that looked like a rush!! to run across that sumbich lol!! love the dam tunes to!!! yeehawww!!! driver!
Yeah and you should've pushed dirt over the lot too so it just looks like a road on top. For some reason they last for decades like that. Very common where I live.
I liked. That wade i log myself in southern ohio i was. We done something similar to that one time in or landing it was so muddy we laid logs in to keep out of mud i look forward to seeiing more videos. Keep up the good work bud. Happy. New year
Thanks Tom I have been over to the southern Ohio area a few times, love the area and you guys industry there. We don't have that many big mills hear. Actually got to tour Taylor one time along with others.
Nice video! Where did you find this version of Ole Slew Foot?? Ive not heard it like this before, sounds better than anything else Ive heard. Its got a rough live kick to it.
love the bridge. what was your wife's option of sitting on the edge with your son . my guess would be; not that keen on the idea. But still a great picture. Mine wouldn't even walk across it little lone sit on the edge.
The song at 2:50 is "Ole Slewfoot" and sounds a lot like Jim & Jessie's version. Johnny Horton, Porter Wagner & Buck Owens sang it to but I think Jim & Jessie's version is the best.
+Logger Wade Hey wade thanks so much for that version of ole slew foot! My Dad played with Bill Monroe back in the 50's @ when I heard that it reminded me of those days way up in Trap hill N.C pickin and passin the jar!!! Keep up the good work bud
If big daddy approves I sure know uncles Larry &Willie will too... & that includes the bear tracks song. You got this Canucks vote of approval! YEEEEEHHAAAWWWW.
Wa je ne sais pas si tu peut traduire mais superbes vidéos je les ais toutes regarder je suis bûcheron débardeur aussi super merci salut /// écureuil !!!
+Logger Wade that don't stop lots of other people. I think that would be a great video, you half hammered and singing. Ha ha ha. I would almost pay to see that. All the best Wade, your a good guy.
Ain't no doubts there, where there a will i guess theres a way. Its even better when it's some kinda bone headed hill billy way of fixing a big problem. In any other line of work there would have been engineers money blowin red tape over thinking lawyers inspecters and on and on and on. We was talking about it and the only reason we wasn't trucking across it was because there wasn't a reason.
aman brother!!! cool music and a damn good show!!!! You know if it wasn't for guys like us people have to wipe there ass with something different besides toilet paper!!! I could have been a landscaper, construction worker, or even joined the military, but the sound of that timberjack startin up in morning and that pop pop crash a big red oak makes is jus in our blood I guess!! well cool video and to all the tree huggers out there remember your ass when you wipe it and don worry I always huge the tree before I cut it. Makes me feel better haha! Adam Timber Cutter , A Dollar Loggin
