What cool trails there are. Great to see you with the lads in Scotland and as always you rocked the trails Phil. Great work and thanks for sharing mate. Ride on and have a great Sunday🤙✌
Cheers Christoph... Glad you liked it mate! Got some good steepy janks comming up in the next two... So keep a look out for those... And have a great sunday as well mate! :D
It is a fun little jam... And the "Twitcher-Tweed Spirit" combo works really ncely! Also... Thanx for watching... I appreciate the suport mate. Have a great week! :D
I definitely need to get caught up. Ripping doubles right from the start and trails are built noice. Your sound effects were in full effect on this one. Rightfully so. I love how playful you stay on the bike. Can't wait to check out the first two.
Cheers Mike... It was a really good holiday... Nice to see the Fam again and have a solid week on the bike with the mates... These trips are kinda the highlight of the year...
Absolutely sending it! Great job Phil. Good to hear some classic Phil-isms throughout, and can we talk about the flower in the helmet #newtrend. Man the roots on Pie Run were nasty.
Cheers Sage... Glentress is a nice place. This was my third visit and the first time we#ve not been rained on. The last time we were there we rode under a flood warning. It was interesting to say the least. One of the lads gave me that flower at some point so I just jammed it into my helmet for a laugh... And it stayed there the whole day... And it should be a new trend!! HAve a great week mate! And stay safe... :D
The Holiday Snorr is a family tradition... We look forward to them almost as much as we do the actual holiday... We keep our "designs" a close secrect until we're all face to face. It's such a dumb tradition, but a good laugh at the same time! :D Thanx for watching mate... And have a great weekend!!
@@TrailTales ^_^ absolute nice tradtion, mate... 'cause life is hard enough sometimes and a laugh is the best medicine :-) Always a fun to join your journeys/bike-rides, dude. All the best and have a hot sunny week. Cheers
@@D0nP3dro Sssshhhhhh!! Stop giving hard working workers silly ideas! This is the Fatherland after all... And nothing shall stop us from harvesting wheet for the fatherland!! NOTHING!!!
Danke... I've ridden it through most stuff. Lac Blanc, Saalbach, Schlanders/Tarsch, And all the steep tech and flow in between... From little rides to All-Day epics to alpine hike-a-bikes... And it has been great everywhere... It's more "short travel sled" than "trail bike" but it climbs well. Is really adgile. And handles more chunk than you'd think possible given the travel.... 11/10 would buy again. If that helps.. Let me know if you want a comment on something in particular instead of broad generalizations.
Since the innitial review... I've traded out the rotors and swapped the brake pads... And I am still liking them. They do the job well. There's not too much to complain about... As a budget set of brakes. I still think they are a very good option...
@@TrailTales Which brakes are they comparable to? could you give me a major brand which I can benchmark them against? I'm quiteintrested in theses brakes, and I've tried probrobly most brakees on the market already.
@@TeddyYang-b2w It depends what you're after. And what you prefer... If you want "powerful" brakes... These might not be for you. They have enough power, and the modulation/forgiveness is good. I ride a lot of steep tech so that's important to me... More so than heaps of power. I'm also a fan of the Magura MT Trail Sports that are also available at a good price. Although they lack a set of pots on the rear brake (2 instead of 4) they are still more powerful than these, with excelltent modulation and control. I just.. kinda really like the way these brakes look though.
@@TrailTales Thanks, I got a set of mt7 pro's coming in the mail to replace my current shimanos so we shall see. Might give this set a try if I need more modulation.
Swing by the channel to catch up on the first two videos from this trip... Whinlatter and Chopwell Woods... Two BANGER vids!

Just search by "Most Downloaded"... They'll be right under Taylor Swift... I'm currently trending #2 world wide I'll have you know!
