70 free tickets over 7 days, it's a pretty decent chance. There's 5 you can get per week if you tried for Regina before and got Star's Memory back to use as currency in that shop. Otherwise yeah, it would take a lot of Ether to do summons. Got my Dahlia and maxed her out (level, skills, decent gear for 4-months+ of playing) and she's not really OP or anything. My limited Regina is at least 2x stronger with only "slightly" better gear. While a nice character to get, not a must-pull, imo. Her exclusive gift accessory seems necessary, though... it gives a barrier based on her attack when landing a crit to help with her survivability.

@@angelajiliagalvez You're jumping the gun there, that isn't a fact at all. There's more to it than "didn't add male, so didn't sell". Wall 'o text ahead, so pay attention! A large part of what pushes players away from Outerplane is the progression system. Unlike Epic 7, it takes an extremely long time to accumulate the required materials to level up and max out your characters' skills and upgrades (the element gems for each character). I've been playing for quite a few months now as F2P, and I've been able to get most of the characters in the game including all of the Demiurge characters thus far, but have not been able to max more than 5 or 6 characters completely, as the red skill books as well as EXP materials are limited in quantities you can get per day, and or week. Stamina is also more limited. We're not drowned in Leifs like we are in Epic 7. In fact, there is no equivalent to Leifs in Outerplane; we have to buy the stamina from all the available shops every day to keep up with what farming we can do. If you limit what you do each day, you can keep up on skip tickets and stamina somewhat, but if you farm too crazy, you will run out quickly. In Epic 7, it's easy to max out characters quickly, aside from Mola Goras and Catalysts. Leveling them to 60 and getting gear is relatively easy. There's no limit to catalyst farming, exp farming, stigma farming can be done basically anywhere including spirit altars, and Spirit Altars are all open on the weekends, and regardless, there's no daily clear limit at any given time unlike Outerplane's equivalent of it, which is a huge negative point for Outerplane. What has truly hurt Outerplane's player retention thus far is not character gender choices or the lack thereof-- it is the hard-walled progression system, meant to slow people down because of the dev team's extremely slow pace at adding content. See the fact that they haven't added any new main story content in a long time (only events / side stories), yet continue to add new characters to the game. There was a period of at least a month or two earlier this year without any events going at one time, and people feared end of service. That aside.. The waifus make more money even still on Epic 7. See the ML Luna sales, it's crazy. The next new limited hero coming up is also a waifu. Notice how there's not a single limited male unit that isn't a collab unit? Your attempt at making male characters sound like an important sales figure falls flat on its face. It's because it isn't worth it for them to bet all their potential earnings on something that isn't going to sell better than waifus. Males are usually added via standard covenant banners and moonlight banners, and the occasional collab only. Never summer or general limited, as their sales would suck. The males aren't what's selling Epic 7, or keeping it popular. It's more F2P friendly and has been around longer. It runs better on more devices. It has the secret shop so any F2P can get bookmarks easily. I've been playing Epic 7 for 4 years+ and can pity any character release that isn't Moonlight thanks to their generous secret shop system, skystones fueled by the weekly arena earnings + dailies/weeklies and event content. One thing I can tell you is that you women think you are more important customers than you actually are. There's a reason the devs of gacha games always add more female characters than male, and when they add male, it's out of reluctance, not because of demand or that they sell well. Only to temporarily appease a minority that begs for it. If you want a game with a focus more on male characters, find an Otome game.
