I just picked this game back up because Romulus got me in the mood. I just did this boss battle and the Predator mimicked Teauila's voice and said "Do it, Rookie!" It's been about 14 years since this game has come out and I've never heard the Predator say that before in this game for some reason
This is a cool boss fight and fun. My complaint though is that its the only predator encounter as the marine which was a serious disappointment. I kept waiting to have another predator encounter and never did.
It does have a lot of significance. It stalks you, shoots down your escape, kills many of your comrades and so on. Without it, the campaign would be halved. If they just threw another one in, they'd have had to build it up or else the fight would not have been as noteworthy, just kinda there. I think they could have offset this by having there be multiple Predators stalk you at once, but that would have been more difficult to implement.
@@rarescevei8268 hmmm, well, I would have been okay if they just did it like the first movie, 1 predator, multiple encounters, some of those jungle environments would have been absolutely awesome to fight the predator in just like Arnold. For me, good campaign, missed a few key opportunities to make it better.
@nickhannah7234That they used, but yeah. It is also one of the most sacred planets to them, as there, the first victory over the Xenomorphs was obtained. The one who was the first Predator to slay a Xenomorph, and the first Xenomorph Queen they ever encountered were both buried there too, although the Queen did survive and was used by Weyland to make Xenomorphs.
The roar that the Predator does in this game when he heals is my favourite Predator roar
@@kyreeseanime485was an actual roar from 2007 avp requiem, but slowed.

Sadly it has! Long overdue for another AvP!
@@despotgaming9061 Oh absolutely! An AvP in Unreal 5 Engine 🤘🤘
Marine vs Alien
Marine vs Predator
1 against 2. 1 hero vs 2 enemy

Why predator fight marine I thought they help humans to fight aliens like the movie from 2004
I assure you, predators and humans are not friends. They may occasionally team up as a means to an end but preds still hunt humans for sport.
Yea check out the comics and older games
Facts yep marine and the predator
