    I love your videos. This will be our second year camping with our travel trailer & I can say thank you enough, your videos has helped us so much last year on our road-trip. It made the travelling much more relax, knowing what we were getting into it as for as the parks etc. Thank you for the two of you.

    Just came back from Charleston Lake. I'm with Virgin, no reception at site, at fill station was able to text only and slightly better on mountain hikes. Sister is with Videotron, she had good service.

    Excellent job on reviewing provincial parks. As someone who has been camping 15 years luv to hear about what other people think about are parks. Helps me decide on are next park. Just one thing I would like to see you do , is perhaps review the actual camp sites. The best ones when it comes to privacy. Enough said, again excellent job. Cheers 🍻. Tim

      Thanks for the comments. In our next video of Presqu'ile I will spend some time talking about the actual camp sites.

    I have been to this park ever since I was a kid and I love it

      That's great. We've only been there once and we can see how it can easily be someone's life long favorite.

    Love your videos! We just went to 4 parks this year that we’d never been to and some were better than other. Wish we had discovered your videos earlier 😂. Keep them coming Coles family! ❤️🇨🇦

    really enjoying the reviews...binge watched Season 1 and now glad to see you back for Season2..Been to some and appreciate your perspective on potential new ones to visit. As mentioned I would like your perspective on the various "camp" areas within the parks as well as the "swimming and trails". The only negative for me is the difference in volume between the music and your voices....which I have trouble hearing....so I am always adjusting volume.... But kudos to you for filming and sharing!!

    Wr were just there, not our first time
    Always found the park besutiful and quiet. Great beaches and plenty of hiking trails, some areas do have poison ivy so read the site description. Cell service is not good. Has anyone ever tried some sort of cell signal booster? Also there is a small store, behind visitor center where you rent the canoes. Just has the basics.

    Thank you so much for the reviews. Super helpful. Do you know if cell phones work at Charleston lake? Big hug from Montréal.

      Very limited service. Koodo, Telus, Bell and Virgin Mobile didn't work in the campgrounds. We got a little service near the nature center but kept losing it. Not sure about other cell providers. Merci beaucoup for watching from Quebec.

    I left out that the exit I got off of 401 was Kingston, joyceville road

    One of our favorite parks because of the paddling.

      Ours too. The paddling is great! We need to spend some more time to there.

    I was curious if you noticed any poison ivy while there? It's the only provincial park I've seen where it seems bad enough the Ontario parks website mentions it on sites that have it which was a bit of a concern.

      It's been a couple of years since we've been there but I don't remember poison ivy being a concern.

    Hi. Loved your video. We want to try Charleston this year and this helped a ton. Is your trailer a partial hybrid? Looked like the back drops down. If so whats the model #. Thanks.

      Thanks for watching. We have a Coachmen Freedom Express 254DSX. They were made from 2014-2017. It has a drop down bed at the back for when the kids come with us. We gave a tour of it in this video if you want to see what it looks like inside: th-cam.com/video/YZHZs814czk/w-d-xo.html

    I also purchased hiking poles this year. You should try ;)

      Cheryl has hiking poles but she just hasn't used them yet. Maybe she will as we'll be doing a lot of hiking on our Lake Superior trip.

    Hello campers! I need to pick your brains on the best route into Charleston lake pp approaching from the thousand islands border crossing. Google maps took me west to the joyceville road exit to 15 it seems like there would be a better way. way

    I have never camped at an Ontario Provincial park. I would love a newbie video for travel trailer check in and check out. Specifically dealing with water, sewer, and electricity. I do not want to be that guy that holds every one up because I was ill prepared.

    • @CampingwiththeColes
      @CampingwiththeColes  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's good that you're getting prepared. The best advice I can give is to be accepting of other peoples help. The camping community is pretty friendly and willing to lend a hand and the staff are there to help. When you arrive at the park go into the office and ask about where to get water to fill your fresh water tank before you go to your site. Sites are either electric or non-electric. There are no Ontario Park campground with sewage hook ups at the sties and only two parks with water hook ups at the sites. So you need to fill up with fresh water and dump your waste tanks at the fill/dump station. If you're having trouble at the fill/dump station there will probably be the next person in line that would be willing to help you out to speed up the process. We were all new once and people get that. Yesterday we posted a video on how to dump your waste tanks. That's a good starting point for you to learn. Happy camping!

    How come you don’t use your shower?

    • @CampingwiththeColes
      @CampingwiththeColes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ben always uses the shower in the trailer and Cheryl uses the comfort station shower when she wants to wash her hair because it takes a lot of water.

    Terrible park always popular in the summer.not a lot of camp sites. The Outlet is the main store.when open.
    Don't go stay away.water is weedy lots of zebra mussles AND cormarants if you go in the fall lots of guns going off. Stay away. 3 .5 trailers.
