See this was some of my favorite stuff about this movie. The Gorgonites and Commandos just felt so alive and real. The practical effects & puppets were just so incredible. Combined with the motor moving sounds. You truly believed these toys were alive as a kid. To this day I still haven't been able to find another movie that captures the feeling this one does.
I had his 12" action figure when I was a kid as well! He was my favorite growing up! This movie was tragically underrated. The Gorgonites were so wholesome and innocent, and their desire to learn about the world around them made them outgrow their initial programming. This movie taught me very early on you don't judge a book by its cover.
Small Soldiers is an awesome movie in 1998, back when I was 8 years old. The characters I like are the Gorgonites, Archer, Ocula, Punch-It, Scratch-It, Insaniac, Slamfist, and Troglokhan. They may be toys with munition chips on the outside, but inside, they are peaceful creatures. I love those guys. Of course, their wish is to find and return to their homeland, the isle of Gorgon, which seems impossible to locate. But there is something I know from wisdom, "Just before you can't see anything, doesn't mean they don't exist." "Even if you can't see anything, it doesn't mean it isn't there." I have not forgotten that a long time ago. The Gorgonites may be goofy, silly and strange-looking, but they are strong, brave, loyal, and intelligent.
About the last Gorgonite. He's not called Troglokhan anymore. He was renamed Freakenstein after Ocula, Punch-It, Scratch-It, Insaniac and Slamfist fixed him and he, Troglokhan was not the same as before so that's why his name was changed to Freakenstein.
I loved this movie growing up. But you know whats crazy about this scene is that the goronites are looking for gorgon because they feel like its their home but in actuality the name goron in definition means dreadful, terrible, terrifying, very ugly.
Are we humans the only living creatures to wonder and to seek about What Is Beyond our field of senses.? "If ants and bees could speak" "The realm of Faith and Belief"
0:17 Punch-It sounds like Mr Burns from The Simpsons, I know this actor that's Harry Shearer who does the voice of Ned Flanders, Seymour Skinner, Waylon J Smithers and Reverend Lovejoy and Punch-It looks like Frank from Ice Age.

Well hey, I just watched a video of a little toddler about 18 months. I could barely understand her. She stood before a mirror and looked at herself and said some jibber. Her dad asked who are you talking to. She replied, no one i'm looking out the window. She pointed to the window beyond the curtain in the room. Someone, her father maybe, typed she lied. How can that be. Did she lie against the truth. She was making noises. But who accused her of being a liar. A thief, a liar, and a murderer. Gorgonites need to get outside and go to Gorgon.
Does archers chest medal get ripped off at some point?? I actually never remember it being there at all but there are pics and clips all over online where he has one... There are apparently toys where you push the medal to make him say stuff.. I'm sure my friend had one, but there was no medal and you pushed his belt buckle to make him talk, just like major chip's. I can't find any pics of a belt button toy for Archer... Mandela effect anyone??
