Another great video about getting out there and just riding through the mud a couple of days. Unfortunately we can't do that here in Germany, which is a shame. So this is a huge "thank you" to KTM for organizing such an event and espacially to Adam Riemann for capturing it.
Hi Dane - - thanks for the comment! And be sure to check out www.ktm-adventure-rally.com/ -- as KTM South Africa just held a KTM Adventure Rally in Drackensberg. So will most likely be hosting another one next year!
Good to see some realistic footage of people dropping bikes. Too often we just see perfect offroad riding, but I’m always left with the thought that they’ve glossed over the gnarly bits.
Great ride! Great people! So, all I need now are 3 operations to fix my right knee and both my ankles, buy myself a 690enduro and jump on a ship to Australia to join you guys for the next ride! Easy!
Watched this video because I just bought a KTM690 Enduro R and was looking for accessory ideas. After Watching this video I am so glad I made the purchase.
Badass rally. Wish I could partake. If I don’t have a 1090R to demo ride through the rally, I’d settle for my 2013 Tiger 800xc, which has yet to let me down.
I really appreciate that big project hatts up you guys I'm also very interested in there the project but I'm a Nepali I can't join that team 😢 solo sad I'm really sad about that I really want to do same thing😢😢😢
Please note that KTM doesn't offer a Tour of Idaho event..I've come upon too many broken down TPI bikes 60 miles from help..KTM "adventure:" is al about wondering if you will get where you are going
Looks like ideal terrain for the mid weight KTMs, but I’d really struggle with my bigger Adventure bike I think...I need a bit more practice. Seems like almost everyone has Conti TKCs, a good choice for those tracks
WHat this world needs is a 250 XC with a luggage rack. Leave the TPI for those folks who live near a city and neve get more than 2-3 miles form a highway
Hey all, i was wondering hows the situation at the other side of the globe. I'm also a 1190 R rider but i live in western europe, wich means gs country.. it isn't that often i see a ktm adv around here. How are you guys experiencing that over there? Greetings my friends, Arne
Hi Arne! Thank you for your comment - great to hear from other ORANGE adventurers around the world. You definitely need to check out www.ktm-adventure-rally.com - - it features all the KTM Rally events that are being hosted worldwide! And there was the first European Adventure Rally held in Italy, this July. A fantastic event and one you should definitely put on your calendar for 2018. Cheers! KTM Australia
allee joppaa ...im an Aussie in Europe, I’ll be looking into the Italy 2018 rally in July. I’m pretty sure GS wouldn’t make the break out routes on this Australia tour...i had a GS when I lived in Australia, and I rode through the snowy mountains from NSW to Victoria on fire trails...solo...no backup over 3 days...I wouldn’t do it again on a GS (and I wouldn’t take the risk of going solo again in such a remote area, but I was much younger then)
Just think of all the trees you'd have to cut down if you let the BMW guys play with you , and all the two abreast shots you'd miss ! Just a bit of shit flinging to the competition from a KTM boy . I love this stuff 🙄
Tim of free thought man i’ve always loved the gs, i used to look at them and think “one day i’m gonna get one of those”... it took owning a 390duke for three months to convert me to ktm entirely. and i don’t love the gs any less than before! i just love the ktm adventure (both) even more
Awesome ktm , Reimann still captures these events no like no other one can , as living abroad l have to put this on my bucket list
darren fitzpatrick 🤮🤮🤮

Please note that KTM doesn't offer a Tour of Idaho event..I've come upon too many broken down TPI bikes 60 miles from help..KTM "adventure:" is al about wondering if you will get where you are going
Indian Himalayas awaits you KTM Rallye,,,,
These guys are so brave with those bikes
Looks like ideal terrain for the mid weight KTMs, but I’d really struggle with my bigger Adventure bike I think...I need a bit more practice. Seems like almost everyone has Conti TKCs, a good choice for those tracks
Awesome video, awesome KTMs!!!!!Anyone familiar with the song at the very begging of the video?
@15:25 Nigel Thornberry
Hahaha there's me mate Greg from Canberra...😂
Top class
does anyone know where you can find the route map for the entire ride?
Apparently,m "adventure" means riding a bike abut 300 pounds heavier than required..If you get a catered meal and a soft bed every night...Ride a 300
how do you get access to these events?
WHat this world needs is a 250 XC with a luggage rack. Leave the TPI for those folks who live near a city and neve get more than 2-3 miles form a highway

Get ya a 1995 KLR 650 and you won't need a Factory truck to follow you around

I ride these kinds of roads on a 1990 Honda CBR 1000F
Don't worry, some day maybe you can afford a proper bike!

BMW
The private colony disappointingly tumble because parallelogram objectively occur as a stiff reason. lean, awake warm
Good luck to you, but I could not imagine anything worse than all this macho bullshit on big heavy bikes. No thanks. I would rather enjoy the ride.
