Šī ir viena no kāzu cikla dziesmām, kas stāsta par jaunas meitenes dzīvi lauku sētā pie mātes, par meitas vēlmi būt pievilcīgai, grezni ģērbtai un dižoties vizuļu vainagā, kas:“…kad kāpu kalnā, lai spīguļoja, kad pūta vējiņš, lai skandināja!” Ja meitai palaimējas, tad viņa iziet tautās uz vietu, kur laba dzīvošana, jo “dievaina, dievaina tautiņu sēta, kur kāju spēru, tur zieda ( ziedojuma ) vajag..!”

This song and video is a part of a story from the Latvian wedding folk-song cycle, that tells about a young girl, her living in a countryside, desire to be bright, attractive, richly dressed, with her sequin wreath on her head to be noticed in the eyes of her future intended “… when I climbed the hill, let it shimmer, when the wind blew, let it chant”. If the girl was lucky, then she got married with a man with whom she had good living together “divine, divine is the yard of the groom, where I step my footstep, devotion is needed”. In each old story there’s hidden relationship between a human and the world occurrence, that can be felt, danced through or sung through. These are age-long questions about our existence, meaning, communication with surrounding and environment, about feminine and masculine energy play and interaction, about relationship between the material world and spirituality.
