Thanks Pompsie. You just lived a moment from my life. I went to Monte Carlo and that casino for my 50th. Plus, I stayed a week in Monte Carlo and even took a day trip over to Cannes. We flew into Paris and Nice. From Nice, we took a bus over the mountains to Monaco. It was a trip of a life time. You look like you had as much fun as I did. Bravo and congrats!

Bravo! I did a similar thing on my last Vegas trip. It was late on my last night there. Trip had been great, was winning and was up a nice amount. I was not going to gamble but I decided to go downstairs with just $100 and make one bet - so I would either win or lose $100 and stop, still would leave winning. I carefully scoped out the joint, looked for a table with a good vibe. I put $100 on 1-18. Was so exciting. 6 came in. Was such a high.
Such a cool place! My dad took me there when I got out of college. We spent one night at the Hotel de Paris and went to gamble at the casino that evening 🙂. Congrats on your win!

As an aside, I recently watched the movie Rear Window with Jimmy Stewart and the ultra beautiful Grace Kelly. What makes this even better is that Sean Connery famously hit 17 black 3 times in a row in Casino de la Vallee in Saint-Vincent, Italy
In 1999 I went there. After losing a little bit, I bet $100 on 22, just like in the old movie “Lost in America”. 22 came in for me. I’ll never forget that moment, when just like in James Bond movies, they slid rectangular placards, instead of the typical chips to me. Paid for my entire European vacation.

Great video. I visited the Monte Carlo Casino back in 2010. Yes, had to pay an admittance price to get in. All the table were packed so could not get into any of the action. I did watch a group of Japanese businessmen paying blackjack at 500 Euros per hand and the dealer was winning every hand that I watched. I still have a 5 Euro chip as a memento of my visit. Nice to see you make a big win Pompsie.
