I'm a tech startup founder as well--thank you for sharing the stress/anxiety of fundraising. Runway is probably one of the most stressful parts of running a company. I always remind myself of all of the problems I've been able to overcome when I am facing the financial pressures of running a startup. I also have learned nothing is as bad as it seems.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing such immense stress. Being an adult, especially an entrepreneur in your line of work, can be incredibly exhausting. I can only imagine how frustrating and drained you must feel. However, the challenging path you've chosen will undoubtedly lead to rewards. I got my Romanian passport a few years ago to study and work abroad and it’s so worth it! It took me good 4 years (pandemic slowed it down significantly), but it was life changing for me as someone from a second-world country, Moldova

I found out that I have PMDD and the anxiety/depressive thoughts usually hits me two weeks before my period. I’ve been taking 5,000-10,000 Ui of vitamin D at that two week mark (recommended by my doc) it’s helping those hormone fluctuations so much!
I need to do this because it’s so drastic when I’m about to get my period

@natalie barbu - try sharpening the knife you use while cutting your onions. The chemicals that make you cry get released more if you use a blunt knife to chop them

About the onions, I’ve heard to use a steel knife that has been sharpened very well and it won’t crush the cell walls in the onion, it just slices past them! Apparently that’s where the strong fragrance comes from which causes us to cry.
My knives are horrible so this makes sense haha

I got my Irish citizenship couple years ago. I wish I could give more details/advice, but my mom took care of most of the documents and application lol. I just remember the process took a while--like over a year (and the pandemic didn't help 🙃)

Get a slap chopper and chop the onions. Then you can freeze what you don't use, and have for next time.

I'm always curious why companies choose to do funding. Why choose funding over bootstrapping for example? Genuinely curious!
I talk about this in my video raising money but essentially tech is very expensive so we needed a ton of capital to even begin. We also think we can scale really quickly + efficiently with capital - pros and cons!
How do people cut onions 😂 that was so funny but also very concerning how the onions affect you. You're probably right about the allergy 😅
Keep your onions in the fridge or freezer right before you cut them
I’ve done that and it doesn’t help!
The process for becoming a citizen there is kind of complicated and takes a loooong time. My best friends grandparents are from Italy and I think its taken him about a year, and he's finally going to get his citizenship in August!
My lawyer said it’ll prob take 2 years! So yes very very long!
@@NatalieBarbu yes if you're over 18 it takes a long time (recommended before that, i did mine at 12 yo... of course not in this case haha)
