Carly (From the Dark Signers Arc) is one of most underrated characters in the franchise. She comes out of nowhere, suddenly gets her own subplot, and becomes one of the main villains. When I first saw her in the story I thought she was just a joke character that was going to be forgotten after a few episodes.
Props for Amv of my favorite Waifu :P We need to see more good AMvs of her. and wish they did more with her. She was funny, and turning dark was so cool ^^

Most of my memory of _5Ds'_ story was maintained by the heavily-abridged recaps from the assorted video games that touched on that arc of the franchise -- but even so, I remember Carly. There's really no darkness as all-consuming as the void within a broken heart...
I haven't seen Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds in years and I almost forgotten about Carly. She really didn't deserve the fate that she got. Going from a sweet and zaney young woman to a dark possessed monster who's actions are out of her intent and control.

As you know I’ve recently started watching Yu-Gi-Oh so I haven’t seen this character yet. But so far I’m digging the show and I loved Pegasus as a villain lol. But yeah no comment from me for this character but very nicely edited tribute for her as well as a nice birthday video for Goblin! See you both made tributes for the same person lol.
You call her a "Vicious Villain". I call it "getting an upgrade". Damn shame they went nowhere with her character, though. It would've been interesting if her love for Jack gave her the strength to fully break free of her Earthbound Immortal, and join Jack & the Signers against Godwin, while also KEEPING her powers as a Dark Signer. Then the rest of the series has her struggling to control her Earthbound Immortal, without succumbing to its darkness. Her crowning moment of awesome will be pulling a Jack Atlas and forcing her Immortal to obey her, evolving it into a higher-form Synchro monster in the process. The end-of-series time skip shows her and Jack married, having finally proved herself a worthy Queen to her King. . . . IDK, I just like the idea of a Dark Signer keeping their powers and breaking free to join the good guys against the villains that came later in the series. Carly seems perfect for that role, and it's better than what she got originally.
This is literally glow up for carly with a twist ,not only did she move past being a mear fan girl but actually beat a duelist who technically coukd have been thr final villain for akiza subplot
Together with Misty, the only other woman of the group, Carly is my favorite Dark Signer : her Fortune Ladies are graceful and deadly at the same time (together with the Earthbound God Aslla Piscu, the giant hummingbird, obviously) ! And, by the way, I like the scene where her and Jack are transformed into the Dark Queen and her husband the Dark King, High Ruler of the Hell, although, in my opinion, they look more like vampires than devils, because they are gloomy and elegant at the same time: imagine if they unite Aslla Piscu and the Fortune Ladies together with Red Dragon Archfiend and the others Monsters of the Deck of Jack....it would be a very powerful combo! Better don’t underestimate them, or you will end badly and, in case of defeat, trapped in the Hell for the eternity as their slave , although I am pretty sure that, in case of Tag Duel, Yusei and Akiza would defeat them easily with the help of their faithful aces Stardust Dragon and Black Rose Dragon....it would be very dangerous and , at the same time, wonderful to see, in my opinion!

Carly was never an enemy for Jack. The only reason that the earthbound could control her was her love for Jack. She was the only one of the dark signer who doesn't collaborate with the earthbound from the beginning and was forced to fight her opponents. Every other dark signer wanted to bring a signer down except of her. She wanted to lift a signer up. So she was the worst enemy for the earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu. She had one opportunity to win the duel and got a second chance to get a draw, but the earthbounds couldn't control her always, so she lost on purpose.
