I feel like people believe that EO is a constant dps class but is another burst spec really, even if you go hype 2 and cast more often your dmg concentrate in Energy Realase windows and your big dps happens in hype 3 windows where the enemy. Same as Robust, without 1600ish swiftness and proper cd tripods it feels pretty bad since your Energy Realase cd don't line up with your biggest hits, and in the long run you want to fit as much skills as possible in that small dmg boost window wich make it a really micro heavy class. Soulfist is insane fun but if you don't have the way to invest in it or don't want to understand rotations you gonna have a very very unfun time.
I play EO as a 1460 alt. From what i experienced so far you can make the engraving work pretty well with relic gear for a reasonable price. I still wouldnt recommend it as an alt, cause to be frank compared to other classes its hard to play. You have to press a hella lot of buttons accordingly and need a lot of knowledge to make the most out of your hype. Playing Hallucination compared to Dominion makes it a little bit more relaxing to play, you lose out on some flexibility though. Damage wise both sets are comparable. Hallucination has the upper hand till we get bracelets. Users choice though to be honest. Its a lot of fun, but also demanding. Edit: With the balance patch we get in Novembre Hallucination gets easier to manage. Can´t make a sounded opinion on the difference yet.
You hit it spot on , its a challenging class if ye wanna chill whilst gaming dun play , if ye wanna not waste time on research dun play . If ye dun wanna manage cd synchronity dun play . If ye dont wanna use a whole other setup for chaos dungeons dun play . If ye wanna just get your main skills in a 1 skill buff cd ( ER ) and then shoot energy balls threw the air play RS as an alt ... you might even like that and use it as main .
great video. im looking forward to your gunlancer video. the only the current classes im not playing are gunlancer, arti and sharpshooter. i love the variaty and im working on getting all lopang chars to 1415 now to at least enjoy some valtans here and there

Also, Energy Blast is so much more dmg than Shadow Breaker I'd really recommend it, fitting only 1 in a rotation is still more dmg than fitting 2 SBs. I'm doing a tiny bit more dmg than you in your 1 minute parse with a lvl 21 weapon. I tweaked my character in Trixion to have the same ATK power (more or less) and got 4.2M DPS. You have a gigachad character, if you put a lvl10 CD gem on EB and go for a 7 or 8 on ER instead, you'd be a machine! Other than that, your video is right on the spot when it comes to RS SF alt, wouldn't recommend it, too much investment needed for an alt.
Just wanna add , if ye do alot pubing ye need shadowbreaker for the gimicks stagger check and weak dmg ... cause they usualy dun waste items or run away -.- Otherwise Energyblast does similar dmg then merciless pummel , so yeah use it .
something to keep in mind shadowbreaker is an execute whereas energy blast is not which skews trixion numbers; i would never use trixion as a real benchmark for anything energy blast is more damage but the difference isn't as large as you think in real world scenarios - especially as RS
@@Sma5hy differing opinions i guess. My reasoning of my opinion is this Eo soulfist is not punishing if you over spend. You get a lot more practice at the energy release burst window. If you miss hype 3 through mechanic you aren't sitting around doing nothing waiting for hype 3 to come back. The floor on eo is much higher then robust spirit. The ceiling is about the same on both. Swiftness accessories are agreed upon being cheaper across all regions. You are afforded budget options in eo on engravings. For lvling you don't have major down time like you do on robust case and point do robust chaos and then do a eo chaos and tell me felt a lot less painful. Robust has many merits but at the end of the day in my opinion eo edges out on most fronts.

Cant alt a soulfist. More effcient going other class for damage vs value like machinist is dirt cheap. Soulfist Cost too much to be viable so only can be a main unless all your alts are 1445 and up then its okay.
Honestly cant treat classes as alts ive learned playing this game at the end of the day you basically have 6 mains no matter what class you play if you dont put time or gold into it you wont get the best results if your looking for just entertaining classes sure treat them as alts but your still gonna be behind if you dont invest into them
Ive built my eo soulfist very cheap. Tbh it was the cheapest one out of my whole roster bcs of swiftness jewelery. Whole set for her costed me like one piece for db striker :p
Only spent like 100k gold to make my EO SF 5x3. Already had grudge books, EO books I bought 3k each. A bit of a budget build but class is already so powerful.
39k 5+1 months ago though 🤣why buy eo books ? u need only 1 . Thats the reason eo jewels are relatively cheap , got 5 on one plus mass increase 3 , done .

You mean you wasted 60k gold buying EO books when you only need lvl 1. This also means you shouldn’t have an alt SF Edit: It’s not a budget build. It’s a bad build. Having a 4x3 x2 x1 is 10-15% more damage than going 5x3 with EO 3.

You only talk bout how your hype generation is op cause ur hard investing .... doesnt that just mean your gonna miss a few skills in the time you can do alot dmg ight ? yeah i know a few when you can only hit a few is alot ... ok got that too ... but thats like all you can say bout RS it seems . You need to take notes when you do a vid and split it into parts and talk about those only , alot blabla repeating yourself makes ppl loose interest .( like seriously dude the main reason ppl play RS is the freakin nuke and you didnt even touch nor shown that ) The only reason i post is cause im a EO main since day 1 and a LA player since KR release and i love the class and game . As EO you have to consider multiple hype phases , ER plus bolting crash and the dominion part actualy in the oposite order cause everything evolves around inner awakening , if ye cant get that right you do least dmg in the game . Its like a machine that you start and has to get warm to run smoothly . Im like just as much on mvp then at the lowest part of screen . Oh and alil thing to consider if ye dun have epic judgement and conviction you gonna have around 20-30 sec downtime on inner awakening doin as much dmg as a RS without skills and hype .... you dont want that you are not RS . And to grind those takes already alot of time ... yes time not money you cant just buy them ...wait if ye have a friend selling in stronghold ... but thats another story . Id seriously consider everyone play only EO if you mean it ... id say rather RS cause you can just grind up there and your fine .... you dont have to consider a bunch of mechanics . The older the game gets the more stats you gonna acumulate anyway ... like in every game . Gunlancer has a purple spec was considered in KR the most expensive spec in the game until they got ancient accessories now alot are using it . TLDR : Id rather have a RS with 3 engravings hitting nukes then a EO with awesome gear and no clue .
a little hard to read but i'll comment on a few points that i could make out from this - and again i think you're missing the entire point of the video which is helping people decide if they want to make x as an ALT 1) if you're playing a class solely because of a 4 minute cooldown that you miss 90% of the time i'm not entirely sure what to tell you - i assume if you're watching a soulfist video you're aware of world decimation and the fact that it is a large nuke; what you aren't aware of is the small intricacies of the ER burst window and how tight the timings are with spec and how awful the entire class feels when you're only able to do 4 skills and then run around for 40 seconds waiting for your hype to come back 2) i'm not sure what to tell you if you think one semi large hit every 4 minutes is better than a properly built, say, shadowhunter of the same gear. soulfist is fun and a good MAIN but it is not a good ALT. world decimation isn't going to be critting 5/10 with your low quality 400 crit neck and no relic set, not to mention outside of that you'll have paltry amounts of spec meaning you're doing wet noodle amounts outside of that window. 3) i talk about the EO hype management and exactly why i don't recommend SF as an alt in general - RS is way too much investment for most people for an alt and EO is more forgiving by nature of it being a swiftness class but it still requires more brainpower than most alts to do well with appreciate the comment but i'm not really sure what the point of it is

Soulfist is a BIG end game class if you dont ready for lose dmg to early dont play this class . Just play a monke class

I am a EO main too but I enjoy clown so much. While my teammates often get knock off in G2, my speed let me dodge every critical hit from the boss
Tldr: eo is the better spec for lvling and budget build and to learn soulfist. Robust spirit is better as a main.

I got depressed and almost quit the game because of this class, I played EO SF and then I change my main, life is good again.. this class is trash
