  • In this video I install a new Harken slug mount Mast track which installs straight into my existing mast groove. I then upgrade my mainsail sliders to a Harken Battcar AA 13mm system. I also install my 1st, 2nd and 3rd reef which have not been setup ever since i have owned this boat!
    Enjoy!!

I realize it's too late now but I would have recommended the Tides Marine mainsail track system, you would have been very pleased with the installation and operation at a fraction of the cost.

I did look at them. I just thought if I was going to upgrade I’d just go bearings. I’d like to use a tides marine track some time to compare for sure 👍

Excellent, ta. Same grey wool beanie bro knitted by my Mum. The reefing lines could be tied aft of each pulley to maintain outhaul tension. The split pin fastening the headboard car may foul, maybe a ring.

If you look at one of the frames between 8:48 and 8:50 it looks like one of the bearing balls may have fallen out during the final installation(not 100% sure, but thought I'd mention it)
