And don't jump from alloy pellets to lead pellets and expect immediate accuracy. If a person shoots for a little while you learn about seasoning the barrel to the round and zeroing the sight to the round before you go running video and declare a gun to not be a good shooter.
Just bought this exact air rifle for squirrel hunting. Put an upgraded scope on it and zero’d it in with the pointed Ruger pellets. Got my first two squirrels last Monday with it while out bow hunting for deer.

It would be great to see more videos like this, with the testing of velocity and accuracy of budget airguns. With manufacturers sometimes inflating the fps numbers, it's good to see a real life test to put the numbers to rest. I was amazed to see how far below this one shot below its advertised velocity. Still looks like a good piece but the numbers are just a little misleading. Thanks for the good work!
Spent my first day breaking it in and sighting it in. By the end, the grouping was looking pretty decent, not laser accurate but serviceable. This morning I got up and popped 2 birds within 10 minutes of each other, one a perfect headshot. The gun is very quiet, even quieter than my .177. The break action feels really smooth. The barrel isn't super long and it has a great break point, it's a little stiff but so far the easiest break action I've operated. It has a really good look, feel and weight, reminiscent of the savage arms line of .22s. Really impressed with the first 2 kills.
I got rid of that front sight, and suppressor silencer, and I'm shooting 1nch to 2inch groups with the crossman premiere 22. Hollow point at 20 to 25 yards. I believe also my velocity has came up since I removed all that front sight. Now I need to replace that spring for a lighter trigger pull, and I will be able to shoot tic tacs at 50 ft I'd be willing to bet money on it lol.already shooting the caps off a 20oz coke bottles at 50 to 60 feet away. It's a highly accurate airgun but modifications are needed to achieve accuracy. That sight ,and silencer suppressor is a joke!:it slows down velocity, and takes away from accuracy I've noticed since I removed it. The scope is decent enough to hit tight groups at 25 yards anything over that I dont know yet? Also theres a break in period of shooting 400 pellets before the gun starts achieving real accuracy, and do not oil the break point of the barrel it makes it harder to cock the Gun. Make sure you read all directions before shooting it, and go by what they say because its written for that reason. Use heavier grain pellets for better accuracy the14 grain, and up. The lighter ones fly all over the place.
Yeah I got tight shots after 200 pellets with factory sights. Removed the set screw for the muffler. Had to chisel that thing off after scoping it in. Pain to remove the suppressor. 400 shots later and using the cheap scope; now it’s hitting great groups at 60 feet.
@@jake4194 just like with real fire arms a silencer will decrease your accuracy 20% your slowing the velocity of the round down. Without on the air pressure stays behind the round. With one your baffleing the air making turbulence and decreasing pressure while it's still in the barrel
That is actually a really good rifle for the price. I bought the Impact Max 22 nitro piston a year ago, and it did require a long break-in period as well as shooting it a LOT, to get used to it, learn the trigger pull, the proper hold it prefers, and find the right pellets that work best with my particular barrel. I also mounted a much better scope with adjustable objective. IF you do all that, which you should if you buy one, then you will be able to get the most out of it, and have yourself a very accurate hunting air rifle that will have a decent effective range. The groupings will be around 1/2" at 30 yards, at least that's about the best I can get out of it, which is pretty good for a gun of this price.
Ben great review!!! One day last fall my buddies were getting together to do some powder burning shooting but the range was closed. We changed things up and we each bought a less than $150 break barrel and shot target in a guys yard. One of my friends actually bought the Ruger Max elite .22 cal for $129. It was easily the best quality feeling rifle of the three. He loved the gun and his gun ended up lasting and shooting the best. I gave him a couple pointers on shooting break barrels and he started hitting the 25 yard target consistently. Great stock and the scope stayed clear and tight the whole time. After about a hundred shots through his Ruger Max elite, the Ruger pointed pellets (at $4.22 a tin) were better than the Crosman HP and the Gamo Rockets we bought at this store. We had a great time!!!! Thanks for the reminder.
As always I enjoy your reviews. It was one of the first airguns I got and still have it. My wife has started to demonstrate an interest in air rifling so I've used this one to get her started with. 😊 Not bad at all for the price.
Hey Ben..if you havnt already check out the Walmart Benjamin Prowler 22 cal...man this gun is amazing for the 100.00 price..I'm telling you this is better then All my higher priced guns..the quality and accuracy is spot on...and the kick...well was unexpected..I did throw the bariska scope on..it came with a centerpoint..but man I just got it two days and cant believe the quality of this gun..thanks for the videos man
Dude ! I bought one from Walmart 139$ out the door with a can of polymer gammo pellets ! Not a tack driver but I dont have squirrels getting into my wifes bird feeders anymore . Great vid bud !
Great video, I own many high quality break barrels and pcps. I also have love for the walmart stuff to, it's a challenge to monkey with the low dollar stuff like trigger mods and such. Many times you can get them to preform close or as well as the expensive rifles. Anyways, thanks for including the budget stuff in your videos!
I own super high end air rifles and I also enjoy these low cost guns. This one in particular is very decent for the $100 it costs. I like the fact that its good cheep fun and you don't have to spend $2000 to pull the trigger!
I'm new to air guns and air rifles so watching your video is really giving me the info I need but thanks for being so detailed makes everything a lot easier to understand before purchasing my gun also thinking about buying one for my son as well.
I bought an Impact Max, gas piston. Shoots nice, accurate enough. Itd feed me rabbits just fine when the zombies come and I bug out :) I've been shooting the standard Crosman "hollow" points, .22 Hits plenty hard enough. Not a bad rifle at all. Yea the scope isn't great, does the job. Take your time, breathe, squeeze on the end of your breath. You'll hit. I've been just fine out to 40 yards.
I like mine. $130. The scope sucks but I zeroed it in bullseye at 30 yards. I bought it to waste some squirrels at my moms. I like it!! Mine shoots lead poly mags the best.
I have this gun and I'm accurate with it at 40 yards it is what it is but I'm extremely happy with it I'm not trying to start an argument but I'm very happy with it
Bought this airgun and the same HP pellets, cleaned it and shot 20 pellets through to break it in and ensure it was functioning properly before I started going for accuracy. The scope is very very cheap, I mounted it 18inlb and used my LBS to get it close as it was extremely off initially. Adjustment of the scope is reasonable at best, chaotic on average. Couple that with the HP pellets and as you saw in this video, accurate for this setup means 10-12" groups at 30-50 yards. Is what it is. It's good enough to take down rabbits at 40 yards, first day I bagged three, but birds, it'll be a lucky shot if you can get close enough without them flying off.
The Ruger Max Elite looks like a nice upgrade to my crappy Crosman F4 Nitro Piston that I purchased at WalMart as my first air rifle. Since that purchase I added a few Crosman pistols that I modified to rifles and a Diana Chaser rifle/pistol but none of them have the velocity of a break barrel and that's what I'm looking for.
Just picked this one up, shoots very well and has no accuracy problems for me shooting the ruger super point 17 gr. Have the same problem as you with the crossman pellets. It throws them around the entire target. This is my first break barrel rifle, and I love it. No hunting with this one but looking forward to going with it. Thanks everybody.
Agree...I only use the 14 gr AWESOME. Accuracy....15gr...Awesome Accuracy...and 16gr...Awesome Accuracy...17gr on up Accuracy is poor....just purchased some H&N 21gr...and no Accuracy at all...so it tells me to stick between 14.3gr - 16gr...and ACCURACY ALL DAY REGARDLESS OF range!!! 👍👍👍
Very enjoyable and informative video. You obviously know your subject very well, and you thoroughly answered the questions I would have asked without giving the impression that you were ‘talking down’ to the viewer. Thank you. 🙏🏼👍🏼
I have the same exact Air Rifle. This particular rifle like heavy pellets. Its super accurate with the H&N Hornet Pellets there expensive as hell 200 pellets for $30 but it also likes the Red Flight Pellets as well. Both are 16Gr. + Once you adjust the trigger it becomes way better too
I bought one of these last week, and after about 200 shots through it, i was hitting just about anything I aimed at through fiber optic sights pretty consistently. However, when I mounted the scope, I could not get the red fiber optic from showing up in my view. Forgive my ignorance here as this is my first time using a break barrel, but I feel like the mounts should be higher. Am i doing something wrong? I suppose I could buy higher rings (and better scope) or put some kind of spacer in the front ring to raise it up 1 - 2 millimeters; but I feel like the product should work correctly as it is sold. I am going to swap it out for a Crossman I saw on the shelf next to it with near identical specs (minus the fiber optic and wood stock) to see if its just the way these things come. I would welcome any advice, please.
I just got this rifle and after getting the included scope sighted in I'm getting very good groups from 30 yards using Crosman Premier hollow points so not sure why they were shooting so bad in this video. This gun is a beauty and a beast. Looks amazing with the wood stock and has plenty of power. Punched easily through a half-inch wood board and into the water jug I had behind it. Only thing I wish was better on the gun would be the trigger because it is pretty heavy and takes some effort to pull.
This is a good video for beginners. Good job and thanks. However, what I would like to see is a video shoot off between the Weihrauch HW97 and the Air Arms TX 200. Can't seem to find one on line.
Yes Ben, that’s why I quit pellet guns and sling shots at 12 years old. Thanks for reality check. Now, 50 years later, I’m deadly with a sling shot at 30yards and now revisiting air guns with correct info. Am I correct in guessing this is Ruger version of Hatsan AirTac. Like all things, different brands make their versions of basically same products. ??
Just was shooting mine about 20 minutes ago. With the hollow points 25 yard pellet on top of pellet with the scope. I just started the sport a few months ago. I also was shooting gen2 dianastorm rider and a ton of fun with the ruger.
This gun gave me the air gun bug. Spent a ton of time hunting with mine (after upgrading the scope and playing around with the trigger) now I'm looking into bigger more powerful ones lol
It's a good gun and very powerful I changed it to a Simmons 22 plinking scope and I was are you getting good grouping at 30-40 yards I use the Ruger pointed or crosman pointed
Just got his air rifle. Seeing as how ammo is hard to come by and EXPENSIVE and my .36 cal black powder rifle is a bear to clean, the Ruger pellet gun is a good alternative to plink with after work to keep my skills sharp.
i love this gun. but after about 3000 shots the barrel catch ball popped out and now the barrel does not lock. i still shoot by manually holding the barrel closed. i kill wasps at 10 to 20 yards with open sights. wish i could find the barrel catch to fix it. the thing i found about this gun is about this gun is that the more you shoot it the more fps you get. im getting an avg of 920 fps with pba bullets 14 grain. and over 1000 fps with raptor 9.9 grain pba. i like heavy pellets with this gun do to better accuracy.
As of the current date, that particular air rifle is available in far fewer box stores at the price range noted in this video. One may find online listings for the Impact Max Elite to be in excess of 4 times what the sticker price may be at Wal-Mart for instance. The rifle will shoot very well at 50 yards. 1 - 2 inch 5 shot groups. 100 yard 8 inch or better 10 shot groups with the optic included with the rifle. 3 - 4 inch 8 shot groups with quality scope or iron (peep) sites. Long telescopic sites with large optical objective lenses can be mounted with modifications (i.e. brackets, bars etc.) to prevent contact of the scope to barrel. Then the scope can be removed from the rail as a single unit (with forward and rear rings attached) and moved rearward until the objective lense clears the breech..in order that the barrel isn't impededed by the forward end of the scope.
I just purchased two. Wow neat guns. My father, my kids, and I loved them. The scope is junky so I prefer to shoot just with iron sites. Was able to hit a 10" plate from over 30 yards and could have done farther if the back yard was bigger.
I like that gun a lot. I love the wood stock on it. I've watched Rick's videos for ever, and really enjoy your and Angies too. I know you are a very good break barrel shooter. This gun wasn't grouping up to your normal standard, I don't think. Maybe it needs more break in, or maybe it needs more pellet experimenting? For a reviewer, it must be difficult, as you may have time constraints and don't have time to break in a gun and spend many hours testing pellets. I still think this might be a good air rifle. I want to thank you for texting this gun, as I have been interested in getting this one, and the older version too, the regular Ruger Impact.
Thanks for vid. I'm considering this or a Gamo Swarm Whisper. I really like the wooden stock on this and may wanna try the open sights, but also like the 10 round magazine on the Gamo. Gamo is cheaper for me atm, not sure which to get.
Great video. I haven’t been going to the Range much as there is not a lot of Social Distancing going on ... none ... masks either. So what to do. In desperation I started messing around with my Wife’s Crosman 760 pump and Crosman (AirSoft) 1911 she uses as Squirrel discouragers around her Bird Feeders. I had forgotten how much fun Air Guns are to shoot (and cheap!!). Surprisingly accurate too. All the same habits and processes as a powder burner. In the market for a budget adult model. I think I just found it. Love the natural wood stock. They are currently going for $148.00 at the “Box Store”. Oh well, the Pandemic has bumped prices on everything shooting related. I have already built an Air Gun Target Holder for the back yard including BB absorbing material to reduce bounce-back. I have a 1377 on my wish list as well. Thank you Ben! PS I subscribed👍
Thank you for this review. I'm in the boat of wanting an air rifle for this weekend and am new to air guns. I might be an aspiring firearms snob but...sometimes a combination of lack of money and quick need dictates that a trip to a local store is how it's going to be. Local stock also has my options essentially between this and a $300 air rifle and since i'm not sure how much i'll use it, I appreciate this review. thank you!
The Crossman Hollows seemed to be very inaccurate, as you've noted. What would the dome points groups like today? Adjustment of the trigger won't decrease the weight of the pull, just the space from 1 to 2.
There are pellets specifically made for this air rifle. With the purpose made alloy pellets you do get the 1050fps and it will stack pellets at 50 yards. I haven't tried farther than that.
I like that you show the speed of different pellets, but I can't tell the grain weight of each pellet you shoot. I'm trying to determine the true speed or muzzle velocity numbers the gun puts out. Thanks. I assume the Sig asp20 blows this away as far as power output.
Thanks for showing, I was actually looking at this one today, but its 148.00 for the .22 cal. at the box store, so it doesn't come close to the 1050 fps. Wanting and shopping for a good air rifle for hunting is a dizzying affair. Maybe my criteria of having iron sights and shooting heavier lead 22 cal pellets somewhere close to advertised velocity can't be met.
Thank you, this was just what I was looking for. I wanted to get my brother a decent cheap break barrel .22 cal pellet rifle as a gift. He's not going to care as long as he can hit soda cans at 20 to 30 feet. I doubt he'd even mount the scope but the option is a plus. Again thank you for the honesty in the review.
Enough with the lame, mealy mouth excuses! It's a good rifle for its intended purpose. It's a working man's rifle and good enough for who it's for. Pay no attention to the high end snobs. It does need a better scope. They all do. Put at least a 3x9x40 AO scope on it and you're good to go. Be sure the mounts have a stop pin so the scope doesn't walk back under recoil. Most mid range rifles need a 200 round break in period before they start shooting good. Enjoy your gun. Thanks for the video
Ben, I think that you have made an excellent video for showing the capabilities and accuracy for this air rifle. The one that I ordered is coming today and I will be testing and sighting it in this afternoon. Keep up the good work!
When shooting a Ruger break barre airgun, you should always try the Ruger superpoint. I wonder if there's a difference between the impact max and the max elite...or just different in name l
The Ruger Superpoints are made by RWS and they are the same thing as the RWS Superpoints. I tried them (off camera) and they did work pretty good. Not as good as the RWS Superdomes worked however.
Ruger air rifles are made by Umarex, and are great. My son and I have the impact max and max elite. Both are great shooters. Shoot a tin of crosman premier lead thru em,and after 200-400 shots they settle in. Can pop squirrels all day at 30-40 yards. People who complain about accuracy should shoot those 200-400 shots, and use the ARTILLERY HOLD!!! You grip it tight, and its all over the place, all break barrels do. Hold it light and it'll get u dinner every day.
That's completely up to Hatsan.. We are happy to review their products.. they just need to get on the phone and/or email and work with us to get them done. Cheers AGW
Just bought this gun and ran out of left and up adjustment on the open sights and was still hitting 4" low and 2" right. Put the scope on and same thing, ran out of up and left adjustment and was still hitting low and right. Put the barrel in a vice and gave it a little influence. Took the scope off and started getting zeroed except I noticed the rear sight would move right and left when adjusting height. Poor quality on the rear open sight. I mounted the scope again and started getting near the bullseye when my shots suddenly started hitting 6" high for no apparent reason. I've put about 100 tin pellets through the thing. Perhaps some more break-in as others are saying but this thing is about as consistent as the weather in New Mexico........... I see you got the same results to the same degree with shots landing wherever they felt like.
I watched all your videos and let me tell you something I found out the most best thing I cannot believe it so I chronograph that myself 1200 feet per second using a 14.3 grain hollow point all I did was take the silencer off I cut it right before the silencer so the barrel is 1 inch shorter I don't know if it's the silencer or if it's an inch shorter but something's making it shoot 10 times faster it breaks the sound barrier also
Excellent review. $148. @ Wal- Mart. Compare velocities with .22LR , .22Longs and .22 Shorts. This is a great way to target shoot with pellets vs., the current cost of .22 ammo. The rifle overall is a beautifully made.
I lucked out on mine it was marked 107 on shelf rang up to 148 but I told the worker it says 107 so that's what he gave me after walking over to check if I was lying. This happened to me before i got a tablet for 30 bucks normally 150
Trigger was jammed out of the box. Finally got it working. First shot blew the silencer apart. The pieces bounced back and hit me in the face. Lots of smoke came out. Quite a loud report. Heavy. Gonna remove the silencer and take it out again.
Really like your video's. You're honest and thats what i like. I am looking for the best break-barrel pigeon/squirrel gun for $200. Reliable where the seals don't wear out. I own airforce condor, benjamin marauder, Taipan long, AGT Uragan, crosman 1322, but no break barrel yet. Any thoughts? Thank you.
If your looking for just best velocity and pinpoint accuracy at decent range the best from the guns avaliable at say Walmart seems to be the Gamo Shadow Whisper in my opinion..you won't be disappointed..just always use the correct ammo for the results your trying to achieve. That can't be said enough with these guns. Ammo...Range...Human Error is what fouls your experience most frequently with any air rifle similar to this
Need to know how to twist the front site..mine came canted bad..removed the set screw but still will NOT MOVE and they will not exchange it🤬 dang front site is waaaaay off...when looking from muzzle to butt stock it is at 11 o'clock...
Tip: try RWS Superdomes for accuracy and a good low price. Very good pellet in all my guns. For cheap plinking, flat nosed pellets up to 10 yards only. Crosman Hollowpoint good a bit farther and cheap. Forget pointed, fancy, expensive junk. Don't waste yer money when you could get Superdomes. Pellets make ALL the difference with air guns. Even my Daisy BB gun prefers Crosman Copperhead BBs, nailing cans at 15 yards easy. Not with Daisy BBs... So there ya go. Thanks for showing the RWS Superdomes, they shoot great even at 1,000 fps from my Beeman Mantis 177.
Great video lot of information on there one small bit of information I think you could have put in there is that you need to break the barrel in with three or four hundred rounds first also you need to buy a variation of pallets because every air rifle will shoot one pallet better than others. I tryed crossman pointed and couldn't get a group at all but tryed H&H Field Target trophy and got awesome grouping.😀
The only thing wrong with mine after a year is the wood is a little loose but it doesn’t affect accuracy at all and I’ve never oiled or cleaned it.. lol
Sucks they went way up in price everywhere. Lol still got one though. Looking at buying a cheaper bariska 4x32 rifle scope to throw on it. Tried sighting it in with the scope that comes with it and it's junk out at 25 yards. 3 different types of pellets and they were going all over the place.
Is the impact max elite a magnum pellet gun?? Also would a firefield red dot scope work good on the impact max elite 22 cal and I noticed that it was discontinued....does anyone know why??
Hey thank you for your videos I see all your reviews.. what is the db noice level can you compare this to the talonp carbine .25 I currently own this rifle and I know noice level is very back yard friendly does it compare to talonp carbine or a texan ss 308? Thanks

That is actually a really good rifle for the price. RWS SUPERDOMES gets me 0.3" group at 30 yards, Beeman 10616 break barrel.
I love my impact. Only let down is the heavy trigger pull
Mine performed with precision out to 47 yards last weekend. Looking forward to attempting 100 yards with the Impact Max Elite today!
What pellets do you use?
I got one of these, shooting tree squirres at 50yrds.
B.S !!!

As always I enjoy your reviews. It was one of the first airguns I got and still have it. My wife has started to demonstrate an interest in air rifling so I've used this one to get her started with. 😊 Not bad at all for the price.
Hey Ben..if you havnt already check out the Walmart Benjamin Prowler 22 cal...man this gun is amazing for the 100.00 price..I'm telling you this is better then All my higher priced guns..the quality and accuracy is spot on...and the kick...well was unexpected..I did throw the bariska scope on..it came with a centerpoint..but man I just got it two days and cant believe the quality of this gun..thanks for the videos man
Does it have a rifled barrel?
@@SwormCycles all break barrel air rifles these days have rifled barrels
Dude ! I bought one from Walmart 139$ out the door with a can of polymer gammo pellets ! Not a tack driver but I dont have squirrels getting into my wifes bird feeders anymore . Great vid bud !
Love break barrel guns easy quick fun. And with multi shot now its game on.
Great video - I'm new to air gunning and your video taught me quite a bit. I'd definitely be interested in getting this as a beginner rifle.
I bought an Impact Max, gas piston. Shoots nice, accurate enough. Itd feed me rabbits just fine when the zombies come and I bug out :)
I've been shooting the standard Crosman "hollow" points, .22
Hits plenty hard enough.
Nice. Smoke some squirrels for us.
just love the fun of my brake barrel hatsan gun.
❤ THE BEST
I have this gun and I'm accurate with it at 40 yards it is what it is but I'm extremely happy with it I'm not trying to start an argument but I'm very happy with it
Same here. I only need it for 35-40 yards and it is very good for that.
Pellets are key, love those Superdomes!
What pellets do u use
Ide like to see a comparison of this gun and the crosman f4
+ Once you adjust the trigger it becomes way better too
Have u tried the 21 grain H&N barracudas , they're pretty sweet too ..I like the red fires , can't afford those expensive ass hornets lol
Those 21 grain ones hit hard as hell , little slower but if u have a good enough airgun that don't matter they'll still go pretty fast
Good video have that rifle and it’s not bad . Really dig the sling for going in the woods.
If you're talking about the crosman F4. Don't do it. No matter what you do with that rifle it'll always choot like hitting the side of a barn...
Great review. Not everyone can buy experience airguns.
Thanks for the information on the Super Dome pellets. They are working great for me.
Did ya get the trigger pull any lighter by chance?
Waiting for mine to show up. Most of bought had a problem with staying sighted in.
I just bought one of these and I’m shooting crossman premier hollow points and I’ve been getting very good accuracy
It has been more broken in now and shoots really nice. Check out my hunting video with it th-cam.com/video/WenxdkcWfOg/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for vid. I'm considering this or a Gamo Swarm Whisper. I really like the wooden stock on this and may wanna try the open sights, but also like the 10 round magazine on the Gamo. Gamo is cheaper for me atm, not sure which to get.
Just bought mine tonight. Feels like a great quality gun. So, I came looking it up lol.
Awesome video.
Looks like you're in Texas
My impact max is my favorite rifle. I get 1/2" groups with it at 20yds. My longest kill was 183yds taken with this rifle wity CP hollow points 14.3 gr
What do you kill at 183?1
@@ronwells8806 i love this rifle but no way it can shoot 183 yards
Just bought it a few minutes ago. Got tired of pumping my Benjamin 22
I hope it’s pretty consistent.
Also it will kill small to about 50 pound pigs at 30 yards.
I would love to try the RWS HYPERMAX .22 in my RWS model 34 and my beeman silver kodiak.....can't find them anywhere......
I just got the impact elite recently today I'm finally taking it out to sight it in today I'm hoping they haven't owed Schultz pass yet
Can yall do a better longer review of the Hatsan 130s
That's completely up to Hatsan.. We are happy to review their products.. they just need to get on the phone and/or email and work with us to get them done.
Cheers

What are some lower/mid cost scopes that seem to really hold up on air rifles with break barrel spring systems?
The Hawke Airmax is a great option. We have several guns set up with an Airmax.
Great review! Subscribed.
This one is a sleeper cheap good quality who cares if it’s “ made in China” hits Hard too 🤷🏻♂️
I watched all your videos and let me tell you something I found out the most best thing I cannot believe it so I chronograph that myself 1200 feet per second using a 14.3 grain hollow point all I did was take the silencer off I cut it right before the silencer so the barrel is 1 inch shorter I don't know if it's the silencer or if it's an inch shorter but something's making it shoot 10 times faster it breaks the sound barrier also
Excellent review.
Got mine for the price of a daisy red rider at walmart lol... great air rifle..super solid, durable and hits pretty damn hard
How the heck did you get it for 30 bucks?
Trigger was jammed out of the box. Finally got it working. First shot blew the silencer apart. The pieces bounced back and hit me in the face. Lots of smoke came out. Quite a loud report. Heavy. Gonna remove the silencer and take it out again.
I spent 160 for mine. I do like the Crosman Shockwave but I was drawn to the Ruger impact max elite .22.
I have the Max Elite and it has served me well. I now have a problem, it won’t cock. What do I need to adjust?
Really like your video's. You're honest and thats what i like. I am looking for the best break-barrel pigeon/squirrel gun for $200. Reliable where the seals don't wear out. I own airforce condor, benjamin marauder, Taipan long, AGT Uragan, crosman 1322, but no break barrel yet. Any thoughts? Thank you.
How does this gun compare to the ruger air magnum?
thank you or testing at altitude it makes a difference
At my local Wally World here in South West Va. it is priced at $149.99. At your price I would be a buyer...
A good review. What maintenance is required for this rifle?
Are there any sources of manuals or instructions for maintenance?
The only thing wrong with mine after a year is the wood is a little loose but it doesn’t affect accuracy at all and I’ve never oiled or cleaned it.. lol
Sucks they went way up in price everywhere. Lol still got one though. Looking at buying a cheaper bariska 4x32 rifle scope to throw on it. Tried sighting it in with the scope that comes with it and it's junk out at 25 yards. 3 different types of pellets and they were going all over the place.
Why does Umarex charge a 100 dollars more for the Yukon ? When they are the exact same gun ?
Thanks for the tips, I'm getting this for my grandson and his dad (one each) this Christmas. I'll go to piramyd air for the pellets then. Thanks again
Thanks
I'm commenting here again. Didn't realize the huge difference. At your elevation level, you can afford to shoot these defective cheap air guns. They lose all their power that high up. I didn't realize this at first. My hats off to you my friend💥💪😱😱😱
The crossman shockwave .22 works fairly well in my experience for the money. But I'm not super educated on air rifles tbh
Great review! What was the rail system you used for mounting the scope on there. Pictures the rail system looks much different.
its a picanninny
review some hatsan under lever n break barrel guns, they give you real fps, accurate and powerful....good review..
My 1st gen Swarm loves the crossman hollow point.
