The only other touhou game i know that detects scrub play(no other way of saying it,not native english speaker)is SoEW.Marisa says how many times you've continued,and both Mima and Genji accuse you that you're weak(continued).Can't remember if the other games did this. Oh,and also Yuuka stops you from progressing in LLS if you continued.ZUN went too far,lose a life=bad ending,but you still get extra stage access if you 1cc.

It doesn’t feel unique to me- it feels like someone’s first attempt at a Danmaku script. And coming from someone who’s been at this for around 20 years at this point, it just feels lazy. I forget who exactly said this, but I completely agree with them when hey said that Junko’s an amazing character who deserves to be in the manga and has no place in the games themself.

We need this stage after Clownpiece, the stage music is so relaxing, Junko has a very tragic story and her simple attacks need prescition, she knows that 80% of the bullets are useless, or at least they represent purity, or maybe she is trying to make you confident so you get really frustrated when you loose but great when you passe it... I love this game
Last time I bombed a lot in a touhou game is trying to 1CC SoHW on normal with ruyokoB (the game has very lenient deathbomb timing window, so lenient that I could do it consistently half asleep)

Ah yeah, I've seen a bunch of stuff on Genso Wanderer. Aqua Style puts out some seriously good stuff. However I've never really gotten much into Pokemon Mystery Dungeon styled rouge-likes. Honestly rouge-likes in general annoy me a bit as well... And Dissapearing of Gensokyo looks friggin' amazing... just really wish I had more free time to sit down and play it...

I get that but as a boss fight still boring to look at, also you could get that emotion with a good looking pattern too just make it a vicious design. A good example of telling a story and still having fun fight would be something like in megaman zero where the final boss constantly shakes (which is creepy as fuck btw) and his moves are not really aimed at you. Hell he even has a teleport move where he randomly moves slightly to the lest. It is supposed to show that he is unable to control himself. Or a side quest in trails in the sky where the enemies in that quest are either scared and waste their turn , are confused and literally inflict themselves with confuse status or just run to the other side randomly. This is supposed to be a warning to whats gonna happen later in that chapter , since animals have higher instincts and are good with sensing danger and whatnot. Junko just feels lazy. You can do the whole I am going to end you thing without making the pattern a single line with pixel perfect dodging.
