I played this and for I don't know how many times. But when I finally beat him, it was pure euphoria! Deeply satisfying. Not many games do that these days
The thing is, it is too early into the game to think about different strategies. After this fight, I did explore other alternatives and strategies. The way I beat this tiger was a combination of luck and grinding for levels. If I am not mistaken, I beat the tiger in level 40 haha. I did learn about better ways of fighting and stuff for the end boss of this chapter. The thing is, they definitely need saved files and a difficulty setting.

I've died more times and feels hopeless against the this one than the rat king. Rat king moveset is more telegraphic and easier to dodge. Just use the damage reduction vessel from the beetle fight to nullify the sandstorm with tornado.after that easy peasy
There’s an easier way to beat him 1. Do not spam your abilities at the beginning. At half health he gets much more aggressive. You can get him there by patience and dodging. 2. Speaking of dodging, perfect dodges fill your focus meter for a heavy attack. When you dodge him hit him with the heavy attacks. Make him pay for missing. 3. At half health unload the abilities on him. It will take him down to about 1/5 health then return to your earlier strategy.
yeah i recommend everyone learn to fight the bosses properly with staff attacks and dodging.. eventually once youve gotten it the long chain attacks arent anything different than before just longer.. its really about learning the balance of dodging at the right times then attacking in the opening windows if you didnt get hit and managing your stamina bar by occasionally retreating and resting.. very tricky..

This boss gave me so many issues, more then he needed to lowkey and he isn't even the hardest to fight either on Chapter 2. After like 6 hours I finally beat this boss and was so tired i had to log off and rest my poor fingers smashing the Dodge Key.
You have to be calm dude analyzing his movement, as i was fighting the secret boss yesterday after more than 2 hours had using all my potions/medicine but still cant beat him, i took break watching youtube and then come back to beat him in less than half hour, in that time i felt very calm and nothing to lost
You are not the only one. This tiger boss had me trap for more than 2 hours trying to beat him. To beat him, you need to be patience, do small trade with him then keep dodging his attacks then find small opening then continue do small hits on him til he's dead.

So far in this game, none of the bosses have taken me more than 6 tries and I definitely have to say that this is my second favorite fight in the game so far (I won't say my favorite until I see you do it in another video). I like how it tests your reaction time and is a very coordinated fight.

@@josephblasko7309 It took me 6 tries as well. He's not hard, he has literally 2 main attack patterns that are easy to read. The hardest moves to dodge are his sword slice and when he goes invis. Otherwise the rest is perfectly readable.
This fight has such a good flow. I loved this boss it was one of my favorites in the whole game. They absolutely killed it on the boss battles in this game 10/10.

Quick hint for Tiger Vangurds vanishing attack. If you use the invisible spell he will target the clone not you but still be aware you might accidentally walk into his attack path.

im at the dragon now.. chapter 3.. yeah.. i dont even know where to start.. the tiger is optional but i didnt know.. i set a goal and achieved it.. the dragon is not optional.. you basically get to chapter 3 and the game is like none shall pass.. you have to learn the tigers patterns.. later theres a secret tiger called the mad tiger after you fight the tigers accolade which is also a royal pain.. he kept knocking me off the bridge hes on even though theres an invisible wall there.. i got knocked off immediately like 4 times in a row.. these are some very difficult fights but once you get the tiger vanguard down the next ones are honestly even harder and trickier to dodge.. oh and then theres the yellow wind rat or whatever but if you do him like you did the tiger vanguard then its almost like the same thing.. its just hard to see whats happening because hes really big and his attacks are windy and blurry.. i recommend learning to fight them properly with staff attacks until you get their health down 1/3 of the way.. spend a few runs just dodging to learn the patterns.. the tiger vanguard will take a lot of that.. i probably fought him like 30-50 times.. eventually it becomes a meditation and thats where you eventually break through.. this game is so zen.. be one with the monkey.. be one with the tiger.. be the yang to the tigers yin..
1) Wear White clad Noble Armour 2) Use your best Staff 3) Farm at least 25 sparks at Squall Hideout or enough until u get enough points to put 4 into Max health 4 into Max mana 3 into Max stam 6 into attack power 4 into focused breath (31 sparks) Then distribute the other 46 sparks between the Smash stance , the extra skills , the Martial Arts down to six hits, the whole stamina tree except the last 3 abilities and Immobilise down to the bottom skill and cloud step on the 1st 2 skills.

Tip: Use the Serpentscale Set, which massively reduces stamina cost when in water. It also has a unique effect that grants a small amount of health when your health is low.
When i die by 3 hit of the first big boss i decide to grind in the first stage and went for hp and stemmia first i didn't care about low Dmg i just didn't want die by 3 hit again 😂

If you go back to the monkey merchant you met before the white noble fight, he sells a tiger repellant drink that gives you some extra damage for this fight, if I remember correctly, it helped like crazy lol

@@ChristianDeLarge this tiger boss is not that hard, the rat king and second prince was kinda harder than tiger boss for me, if you kill the king first the prince will go berserker.
I would redo your sparks and focus on upgrading stances. By the end of the 1st chapter you should have all four focuses. This will give you much more powerful charged attacks to beat bosses as well as added moves to use with combos and charged attacks. Also focus on martial arts for more mobility and agility. Health and stamina are accessory upgrades since Wukong is all about evasion and dodging. He’s not supposed to be confrontational and charge into battle. He basically trolls and spams dodges and parries when necessary while poking the enemy. He’s strategic and calculating. Ideally, he shouldn’t be touched by an attack as he’s a toothpick compared to some bosses. Use abilities purposefully and combine them to maximize your damage. Don’t give up. This game taught me a lot about gaming, patience, and being calm as well as uncovering my underlying hotheadedness. This game also taught me how to lock tf in and unlock flow state.
First couple of times I thought tiger fight was impossible, but after you learn his moves, it's pretty easy to do. Absolutely loving this game, amazing. Currently on chapter 3. Csnt wait for a sequel which I'm sure there will 100% be!
Starting to think I adapted quite well to this game, didnt take more than 3-4 tries with tiger, at the same time Whiteclad Noble appears in my nightmares from time to time haha
First off that's a Scottish accent. Second off I have never once heard an Asian that moved here and learned English that sounded in any way remotely Scottish. They just sounded like an Asian speaking English.
You are supposed to take down the father first to get a spell or whatever it’s called so u can use his ability . He gets significantly harder after u kill the dad and rages. Also remember to use and make medicines/buffs to help with fights!
This fight is easy once you realize that the snap of his punches forces your brain to panic and think you've been hit. This is the 1st skill check fight in the game. Masterfully done by the developers.
tbh, the tiger vanguard took me less tries and time than the whiteclad noble, but i did improve my dodging and timing. However, when it killed me, i wasn't just sad or angry, but since the movements were so cool, i got motivated to kill him every single time.
This game uses a simple trick against players with most bosses, once you get used to it, the game becomes pretty easy tbh. Most boss attacks have a slight delay to them, luring you to dodge too early. Also the window to complete a combo is very narrow, also luring players into overextending instead of holding back.
Its crazy how everyone had different experiences with this game, i didnt struggle that hard with tiger vanguard, but yellowbrow was fucking me up for a day😂
If you have the serpent scale armor set USE IT in this fight. It will save you so much with the health regeneration while being in water. That’s why I couldn’t beat this fight before, I’d unload on him and he’d only have like 1/4 health but I’d be completely out of my gourd medicine and about to die by then and this saved me. Also just try to learn his attacks and dodge times.
I love how this game gets everyone so raged but we can’t stop playing it cuz we know we can beat them just annoying at the moment but sooo satisfying when we finally beat them 😂

you can get a full combo with finisher if you unlock the thing where dodging doesnt break your combo and youre good enough to not get hit..

im at the dragon now.. chapter 3.. yeah.. i dont even know where to start.. the tiger is optional but i didnt know.. i set a goal and achieved it.. the dragon is not optional.. you basically get to chapter 3 and the game is like none shall pass.. you have to learn the tigers patterns.. later theres a secret tiger called the mad tiger after you fight the tigers accolade which is also a royal pain.. he kept knocking me off the bridge hes on even though theres an invisible wall there.. i got knocked off immediately like 4 times in a row.. these are some very difficult fights but once you get the tiger vanguard down the next ones are honestly even harder and trickier to dodge.. oh and then theres the yellow wind rat or whatever but if you do him like you did the tiger vanguard then its almost like the same thing.. its just hard to see whats happening because hes really big and his attacks are windy and blurry.. i recommend learning to fight them properly with staff attacks until you get their health down 1/3 of the way.. spend a few runs just dodging to learn the patterns.. the tiger vanguard will take a lot of that.. i probably fought him like 30-50 times.. eventually it becomes a meditation and thats where you eventually break through.. this game is so zen.. be one with the monkey.. be one with the tiger.. be the yang to the tigers yin..

3) Farm at least 25 sparks at Squall Hideout or enough until u get enough points to put
4 into Max health
4 into Max mana
3 into Max stam

Then distribute the other 46 sparks between the Smash stance , the extra skills , the Martial Arts down to six hits, the whole stamina tree except the last 3 abilities and Immobilise down to the bottom skill and cloud step on the 1st 2 skills.

Tip: Use the Serpentscale Set, which massively reduces stamina cost when in water. It also has a unique effect that grants a small amount of health when your health is low.

@@ChristianDeLarge this tiger boss is not that hard, the rat king and second prince was kinda harder than tiger boss for me, if you kill the king first the prince will go berserker.
So far Ch2 has been my favorite. The atmosphere is simply amazing.

I would redo your sparks and focus on upgrading stances. By the end of the 1st chapter you should have all four focuses. This will give you much more powerful charged attacks to beat bosses as well as added moves to use with combos and charged attacks. Also focus on martial arts for more mobility and agility. Health and stamina are accessory upgrades since Wukong is all about evasion and dodging. He’s not supposed to be confrontational and charge into battle. He basically trolls and spams dodges and parries when necessary while poking the enemy. He’s strategic and calculating. Ideally, he shouldn’t be touched by an attack as he’s a toothpick compared to some bosses. Use abilities purposefully and combine them to maximize your damage.
Don’t give up. This game taught me a lot about gaming, patience, and being calm as well as uncovering my underlying hotheadedness. This game also taught me how to lock tf in and unlock flow state.
First couple of times I thought tiger fight was impossible, but after you learn his moves, it's pretty easy to do. Absolutely loving this game, amazing. Currently on chapter 3.

You are supposed to take down the father first to get a spell or whatever it’s called so u can use his ability . He gets significantly harder after u kill the dad and rages. Also remember to use and make medicines/buffs to help with fights!

It's interesting that you never use the heavy attack. You gauge remain full the entire fight. Heavy attack is how you deal damage.
This fight is easy once you realize that the snap of his punches forces your brain to panic and think you've been hit. This is the 1st skill check fight in the game. Masterfully done by the developers.

tbh, the tiger vanguard took me less tries and time than the whiteclad noble, but i did improve my dodging and timing.
However, when it killed me, i wasn't just sad or angry, but since the movements were so cool, i got motivated to kill him every single time.
The ending though. The reward for not breaking your controller.

This game uses a simple trick against players with most bosses, once you get used to it, the game becomes pretty easy tbh. Most boss attacks have a slight delay to them, luring you to dodge too early. Also the window to complete a combo is very narrow, also luring players into overextending instead of holding back.
Its crazy how everyone had different experiences with this game, i didnt struggle that hard with tiger vanguard, but yellowbrow was fucking me up for a day😂

Watching the trailers for Black Myth: Wukong, it’s clear this game has a lot of potential.
If you have the serpent scale armor set USE IT in this fight. It will save you so much with the health regeneration while being in water. That’s why I couldn’t beat this fight before, I’d unload on him and he’d only have like 1/4 health but I’d be completely out of my gourd medicine and about to die by then and this saved me. Also just try to learn his attacks and dodge times.
What if I tell you that this tiger vanguard is motion-captured by some unapologetic cats with unpredictable movements😂
Ive never seen anyone play t his without using focus. It drastically increases your damage with varied attacks.
