I really dont know, in the swedish national series I've fully tuned the bike according to regulations and I have a great power output for a stock bike, around 123bhp. But still others manage to find much more power somehow? Worst case scenario: they're cheating, but that's never been proven. In the videos from the german r6 cup it's really not that big of a difference because the bikes were regularly checked and tested, nobody could do anything different, which is really good! Much better racing!
@@mattiasodlund1147 on the new r6 you have to change the full exhaust because the euro5 stock one eat a lot of power 123bhp is a number I don t understand, because if it is motor power it is low, if it is rear wheel power it is way to high to be possible
@@christophesiegel Yeah this is a 2017 model, with euro4 regulations, but it's a full race exhaust system on every video, and again in this particular video everyone on track uses the exact same equipment as exhaust system, suspension and all that. From stock to race system change alone we went from 105bhp to 114bhp! And it's rear wheel power yes. It's not really that high, if you tune it with camshafts and porting and such you can "relatively easy" get up to about 130bhp, obviously depending a bit on which dyno and what standard of measurment you use, like DIN or SAE. I think world supersport bikes are touching 140bhp or something like that for example.

At 13.2 it starts to fade, yes. But then at 13.8 the velocity stacks lifts allowing air a shorter path to the engine and kinda boosts it a bit. This means peak power is at around 15, and when shifting you'd want to avoid the small dip in power at 13.2-13.8 give or take. Hence shifting almost as late as possible. In this cup no changes were allowed, but since then we've optimized the velocity stacks to lift at 13.4 and also moved the rev limit back 500 from standard to go easy on the valves
My german is not the best! But you asked which tires we use? It's Dunlop D211 Racer, bot the PRO, that's the good one. Unfortunatly we only get trackday tires. And Thank you!! :D
Go for it! It's a fantastic bike ;) He suffered a couple of fractured vertebrae, so it will take him a while to get back unfortunatly. But he is in every other way fine!
Dai de gass no reason, doesn't do anything anyways so just didn't bother changing it :P Ran it off and on 1 last weekend (resets to 1 everytime you turn on the ignition) and it's the same thing

Do u rev match or slip or use aid when downshift
The bike does have a slipper clutch, but all I do is revmatching when downshifting, no blipper or anything like that
