I have a notebook for my socks and every new pair I knit I put in all the details as I knit them ,stitch counts,needle size ,yarn used, the name of the pattern and finally how they fit and amount used .😊 Also have a separate notebook for jumpers etc , it’s a godsend

I did my love note with two fingerings held together and it is pilling much at all. I assume its how much twist you get with the smaller guage yarn. Love your podcast. 😁

I caught your last episode and enjoyed it. So I went back and caught up and you timed this release perfectly for me, lol. Looking forward to the makealong. Us oldies don’t know how to use Instagram 😂😂 like the mittens. What ply is your hand spun for the nightshift shawl please, it is beautiful.
Thanks so much Sheila! 😊 Sorry you're not on instagram, please email us photos of your finished items if you'd like to join in though 😁 I used a 2ply, dk weight handspun for the nightshift and the recommended needle size. I think the pattern calls for worsted ❤️
I've never done lacework. I started the Yume last night and this morning I messed it up somewhere. So I ripped it back. I think I need more practice and I'll start again in the future. Yours is beautiful.
Thank you Bobette! I hope you are able to get the hang of the lace, I found lifelines help to save the work you've already done and stitch markers in between pattern repeats help to keep track of stitch counts ❤️

Great to catch up with you! I’m always inspired by both of your makes- today especially with Kirsty’s handspun and Tracy’s Slip Crazy Shawl. (Ps that zebra yarn would be SO amazing!) I have a question- I’m just casting on some leg warmers (shorter ones, kinda more like ankle warmers,) would that count as a foot item for the KAL? 😁 Lol, it is nearly the foot 😉 If not, no worries 😊
