    "I will always recommend traction" said many times but no technical REASON & COMPARISON provided.

    I have seen installations of hydraulic elevators in buildings with 8 floors or higher up. Which I can not understand why the builder did not go with a traction elevator. A hydro elevator is going to very slow compared to a geared traction (if overhead) or gearless (MRL) I remember at the college I attended, three were two hydros in the Admissions Building 8 floors slow as anything. Traction is more energy efficient with the regenerate system and the machine is only lifting the difference in weight between the cab and counterweight.

    Sir we are having a CGHS PATPARGANJ in I. P .EXTENSION DELHI 110092 THIS SOCIETY IS HAVING G +3 FLOORS .IF THERE IS ANY SUCH LIFT WE MAY CONSIDER TO INSTALL IN OUR APARTMENTS.
