great video as you actually show people how to un plug the motor wiring properly and it all makes sense regarding the linkage aswell unlike most videos ive seen 👍👍👍

somebody needs to talk with the disigner about the placing of the motor in a place where it drowns about 4 times a year because of more ridiculous designs like the rubber drip hose both sides and the oversised holes in the cover what lets leafes true.
Yep, I replaced the failed motor on a Clio only for it to stop working 1 month later. When took another look the motor was 3/4 submerged in rain water that was not draining as the drain hose was blocked with crud 👿. Pity I didn't know about the s#!t drain design when I replaced the first motor.

Excellent tutorial thank you. The wipers on my Clio sometimes stop working - guessing it is the linkage needing lubricating.This is very helpful
Follow up to last message. Heavy rain last night caused the scuttle to flood and the wiper motor to die. Your tutorial couldn't have been more timely. New motor fitted - linkage disassembled and lubricated (spring secured horshoe circlips tricky - but done).. Had trouble getting the wipers to sweep in the right direction - stuck a chopstick to spindle - trial and error (the motor had died with the wipers in the upright position). Thanks For helping.

How does the long head linkage go back on? Namely where it fits into the linkage that has the battery connected to it.

Can I just ask? My car windscreen spray doesn't deliver the liquid to the front. I guess it's because of the frost. Can't find where these windscreen washers are. Can you give advice? Thanks

How to tell if you I need to replace linkage or motor??
As I keep hearing noise when switching on wipers, and sometimes working sometimes is not. I have Renault clio 3 2008
If it works sometimes, then it would suggest the motor is at fault. The only way to know for sure is to access the wiper assembly and check.
