Suggestion for a run. You have to use every TM as soon as you get it. Would involve some strategy on gym order and when to pick up certain TMs. To make this work you would probably have to use Mew, so that could be fun right?
He would have to catch Pokémon just to learn a TM. He would then have to forget useful moves to learn a TM. It should also be noted that he can't learn a TM then release the Pokémon. Mew isn't required. It should also be noted that he has to use the TMs.
I haven't gave up, Pokemon Emerald with only one Snorunt. Now is actually the perfect time, because I live in South Carolina and this is the first snow I received in 8 years.
I don't mind the long ad because it's something you actually like and finding out that your mom was in a band and did a lot of t-shirt printing is kind of cool... so extra MDB stories👍. You should totally have your mom do a story at the end of a random video coming up just to see if people actually pay attention all the way to the end.
The splash grind is real. That's why I think it would be okay to hack in some rare candies to be able to get to the first attacking move. If that's not okay with most people then I think it's okay to hack in potions so you don't have to worry about going back to the Pokemon Center this way you can get these challenges out faster and is less grinding for you
Well, rare candies would be fine, considering it would actually be possible without them. The whole question is "Is it possible to beat (pokemon game) with only (pokemon)?"
With all the Accuracy Problems in this run, you probably should have used Arieal Ace, at least for some fights before switching to Return. It would have been stronger to use Arieal Ace for the Grass Gym too. Since Super Effective+STAB would do more damage against the Grass Types than just 102 power Returns
That Agatha fight was an absolute nightmare. You would figure with 100k+ viewers, one would be an online small business owner who could do something like this. I really respect him letting you just do whatever you wanted for the ad.
I hope he names it Magikarp 'cause that'd be hilarious. I think he can win, but Hoppip's lackluster stats and poor movepool are probably gonna necessitate some powder shenanigans and creative strats to over come threats that resist grass and normal moves especially in a gen before eviolite. Blaine might actually be a challenge for once. RNGesus be with you.
Aerial ace has a 90 base power after stab plus it always hits. For Agatha you would cut out a lot of issues because you can actually hit her and for the rest of the fights you would not really miss much power compared to Return being around 100 base power.

I suggest a Red/Blue run with only Magmar. If you look at its move list you’ll understand why. If you want throw in no Tms for added challenge I’m pretty sure magmar would have one of the highest base stat totals for a mon in a single run that you’ve done so far.
@@terriblejokefactory8831 Onix's defense is so much higher than his special defense that a resisted special attack does the same as a super effect physical attack, which leads to a hilarious situation in Gen 3 where they gave Charmander Metal Claw to try and help with Brock but it doesn't really do anything because Ember is just as good.

Actually, while watching this episode, I had a thought of for a new variation on a pokemon challenge for you. Only one pokemon, no items outside of held items (even outside of battle), and can only use each Pokemon Centre once including healing from fainting, in exchange for having access to fully evolved forms of pokemon you have already done a challenge with.
Has anyone told you that hearing you talk without background music is THE BEST? Maybe you just forgot to put it (from 24:07 to 24:40) but my ears certainly appreciate it. My brain can't handle well multiple sources of sound. So... keep doing that! :D Also, great run!

Here’s a challenge idea: Pokémon red with only one glitched magnemite. I have no idea if this is possible on emulator but I remembered that you could glitch a magnemite into having fire and electric type. Learned about it from one of the Pokémon stadium vids, either way if you can’t I appreciate you reading this (assuming you did). Keep up the good work MDB!

A double battle, two Karate Kings, and a female trainer. I rarely fight the fifth one because she spawns too far north but I believe all 5 use fighting types exclusively. You make decent money too

Splash is an amazing move. Why would a pokemon like Water Onix or Milotic be able to learn it if it sucked? By this logic, Hoppip is also good.
It does actually have an extremely miniscule chance of doing something, but you're more likely to find a shiny than that.

Only Ember until level 30-something. At least Brock wouldn't be much of an issue (since Ember isn't Normal or a physical type).

I'm so glad Khimyra gave you freedom to say what you want for the sponsor, it just makes sponsorships a little more creative. I've seen the same script and video go with at least five raid: shadow legends sponsors recently.
Thanks for the video, was a cool run!! Wanted to put my opinion in: using rare candies during the difficult grind sessions near the end seems like a good idea. Watching you find ways to get levels in the beginning is interesting, but grinding near the end just seems unnecessary
Great ad I wish more sponsorships were like this, natural and genuine I hope this leads to more sponsorship opportunities

When you’re grinding in victory Road like that you should bring a Pokémon that knows dig so you don’t have to walk back to heal, just walk back to the cave
I usually just grind on one of the Islands, I think it was One Island but legit don't remember. There's a double battle and two black belts

@@leannehetherington2164 yes. I double checked. It's the northern edge of One Island, if you line it up right (and don't change Areas) you have 4 battles. A double battle, two Karate Kings, and a female trainer. I rarely fight the fifth one because she spawns too far north but I believe all 5 use fighting types exclusively.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with the ad. I've checked out video sponsors before and I'm usually disappointed with the product or the price, but these guys seem good. I'm especially that they gave you so much freedom and actually liked your content. I was already understanding and okay with ads, but if they're like this I'll gladly welcome them and check them out.
I was curious if you'd be down to do a pokemon evolution randomizer in any gen. I saw a few other streamers do it and it seemed like a lot of fun and would probably be a quicker one too.
