WOW, you’re the queen of colorful rainbow designs!!! Yes Laura! I accept your challenge and I’ll try that happily! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful card with us! 🥰
Ha ha....the crack made ME giggle, and I'm 70! Can't wait to give this idea a try. I don't quilt, but I love paper piecing! AND using up scraps in a pretty way! Thanks for the inspiration, Laura!
You are such a doll! Always joy filled and full of enthusiasm. Of course, I am itching to try this! Unfortunately, I have to supervise some 22 year olds as they finish an extended drainage ditch. We have had the wettest April, May, June in STL. 🤦♀️🤷♀️😫😰
That is fantastic Laura. I AM a seasoned quilter but my forte is in the hand quilting more than the 'top making'! However my bff & I are going to TRY (in the fall) to take a day a week and use up our fabric and attempt to make our own tops....THIS is a great idea for an easy pattern for us newbies. I think maybe you SHOULD be a quilter... A fantastic card! (Pinning this!)
Such a cool and simple technique. And yep, just like putting a quilt together using strips. My mom makes quilts and I've watched her make a bunch that way.
If you are having trouble finding Post It Tape on a roll (being discontinued in the US...), you could try Post It Correction Cover Up Tape (not quite as sticky as the Post It Full Adhesive Rolls, and only available in white). Probably a good option to continue to use for card crafting temp placement.
This is a beautiful design and a great way to use up your Scraps. But this would make me crazy....lining all these stripes up? End to end? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ Did it twice and I don’t think I’ll do it again. I just give my Scraps to my friend. She loves using them up. Lol 👍🏻👍🏻
I had to laugh! You had a quilting problem on your card! If you don't use a scant quarter inch your pieces end up to big and you have to trim. 🤣 You should absolutely try quilting. Moda solids for you and Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt Co. Had several tutorials on how to make blocks just like this. It is a lovely card, TFS.
You are always a delight and so are your cards. The "crack", crack would've made my kids laugh... especially my boys!
Thank you for showing me that it isn’t hard at create a rainbow card. I’m loving it.

Hi,
Where I can buy your cards please. I mean online store. Wholesale purchases.

It looks complicated, but your video simplifies it. Great card?
Yep, I laughed; Grown woman here lol!
