Shooting a metal plate is great but does the peeper balls also crack so easy on a person wearing a thick winter jacket? Can you set up a test with a dummy dressed up? That would be great to see. Thanks
You know I have wondered that myself. Everybody always shoots them at plywood and stuff like that. When I had the scarecrows out there I took a couple of shots at them and they didn't bust but they're like foam bodies. I've shot some ballistic gel and it just penetrated. Burst inside. But I think that's a very good question and a very good idea for a video. Other than just shooting some inerts at a real person I'm not really sure what we could do that would be really accurate. Maybe dress up a ballistic torso
Question: If a person, while under stress, forgets to pre-puncture, how reliably or how far would that 1st, underpowered pepper ball break? [i've heard it's about half the power but w/ the 12g ... ?]
I can do a test on one in ballistic gel and with the Chrono but yeah I would say that's about accurate it's definitely not near as strong but I think it would still break a pepper ball
