    Bea -- Your Portuguese lessons are amazing!!! 🥰 Just ran into this issue on when to use haver versus ter -- you're now my go to source -- if I have some question on grammar or word use -- I now first look to see if you've done a video on it!!
    Muito Obrigado!!

      I feel honored 😊 And if, by any chance, you don't find what you are looking for here, tell me. 😀 Depending on the topic, I may make a video on it.

    Today, I had to contact a parent from Brasil, and I’m so happy because I was able to communicate with her in Portuguese!

    Bea, obrigado por esse esclarecimento tão necessário na linguagem cotidiana. Foi divertido ver a palavra “paralelepípado” de novo. Lembro disso no bate-papo em groupe de sábado.

      De nada, David!
      Quando assisti à aula novamente, também me lembrei do *paralelepípedo* 😅 Vamos ver qual será a palavra do próximo encontro! 😅

    Could you please make a video on school vocabulary/ sentences /frases use in school/ high school ? For example:
    Absences/ grades/ rules/
    Obrigada!

    Sorry, at 06:34, why "teve"? Shouldnt it be "tinha" ?

      The options in the quiz were tem or teve, so teve was the correct choice. In the past after nunca, both teve and tinha are grammatically correct. However there is a subtle semantic difference in meaning, which perhaps the professor can best explain to you.

      @@POLSKAdoBOJU Because in the video she never mentioned "teve", just "tinha", therefore I asked.

      @@msbudmsbud7593 probably because it's not a lesson on the conjugation of Ter. That would require a full separate video.

      Olá! In this sentence, the best option is *teve* as it refers to a past and present time event. Until these days - *Nunca teve um sistema de metrô aqui.*

    • @PlainPortuguese
      @PlainPortuguese  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I will definitely make a lesson on *tive/teve* vs *tinha.* 😀

    Alternatively... Existe could be simply mean "exist"... and you probably hear that used that way when you heard a pre-recorded message below that you will get in Brazil if you call a Disconnected number...
    "O número chamado não existe, Por favor verifique o número discado e tente novamente."
