People seem to neglect the pedal markings of Sibelius himself, playing this piece quite dry. I've heard a lot of performances on the tube, but just once with pedal as written. The feel is quite different, I recommend trying it.

@@kamilfattouh4556 I'm sorry, I just remember having heard it once, but I regrettably can't recall the player. If I stumble on it again some time I promise I'll tell. 🙂
BTW the tempo in these particular performances are spot on in my opinion.

This version is on the slower side, but as you can see in my comment under the video I still liked it very much. This piece has not to be a virtuoso showmanship, it has a quite intimate character in the end.
