    I’d slow down and just enjoy the journey… sounds like you’re moving way too much. You can always go back if you miss anywhere. Loved this vlog xx

      I think you’re very right! In my heart I know it’s impossible to see absolutely everything, but tend to give myself a bad case of ‘fomo’… my new goal now is to start settling down a bit whenever I find a place I resonate with 💞 Thank you for watching x

    Hey Jess, don’t hurry anything in life x slow down and appreciate this moment. Moving everyday would be absolutely exhausting! Look after yourself xx

    Thanks for the ramblings Jessi, I enjoyed listening to!
    I hope you’ve already booked both the Spirit and Overland Track. Tall vehicles are hard to get spots for(though Searoad Tasmania is another option) and the Overland is always in high demand.

      Thank you for listening!! ✨
      I was online on the dot for the Overland Track ballot when it opened on 1st July 😂 and was lucky to nab the exact start date I wanted. Return ferry tickets booked in the same moment (with more than a small pain to my back pocket)… I swear it’s all like trying to get a ticket to The Rolling Stones! But I’m all geared up and ready to go!

      @@jessiwandering my pleasure!
      I’m glad you got the bookings early. I also hope you’ve allowed enough time between sailings to properly see Tassie. It may be small with short distances as the crow flies, but you’ll never go anywhere here in a straight line!🤣

      Verrrrry excited for all that Tassie has to offer! I’ve got another three weeks outside of the trek, so hoping that will be sufficient to get a good taste for the place ☺️

    Jessi, if you worked in a creative field before starting on the road, I'm not surprised you can't settle to creating now. You need a break and will get back to it when the time is right I'm sure. I understand the guilt thing, I have that, but you're causing no harm so guilt does not apply. Enjoyed your reflective ramblings!

    • @jessiwandering
      @jessiwandering  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is so comforting Judith 💞 You are probably right - a break certainly can’t be the worst thing in the world! So much inspiration found in every day travelling anyway! Thank you for listening 🥰

    • @AshFleming
      @AshFleming 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep. Totally agree! I have suffered with the guilt thing too (why aren’t I singing when it’s the thing I love most?) But that’s the thing with creativity it ebbs and flows. I also believe that structure helps creativity but you have very little of that at the moment because of the travelling. If you’re able to find time in the future to stay in one place for a few days or even a week you may find you get the brushes out again, or you may do something else instead! And that’s ok. Don’t forget the filming and editing of these videos IS highly creative & takes SO much time! So you are keeping those juices flowing just in a different way to how you originally thought. ❤ It’s like that time I gave up singing to make pavlovas! Or started my vegan blog. As a creative we are always doing something but who knows what that will be? Glad you’re enjoying the journey xx

    Don’t discount the fact that your vlogs are creative in their own right. You are also banking lots of inspiration that given the opportunity I know you will be drawing (pun acknowledged) from.
    The next 9 months of your odyssey will be great to watch now that you have the lessons from the road experienced over the Queensland leg.
