@@jadenking4268 How 'bout "2 Chelios: Crank 2"? Just kiddin'. No, but seriously; The new - albeit arguably 2nd-fiddle-status [pun ostensibly intended] - paradigm for music parodies might now run a little something like this: You know you've hit the niche-cult-classic big time as a rock star when your song gets parodied by 2 Cellos.
This was so much fun to watch with you guys! I'm an elementary music teacher. I show this video to my students every year to talk about instruments and genres . Showing them that an instrument is not a genre. Any instrument can play any genre it just depends on the skill of the instrumentalist. Great reaction guys!! So much fun!!
They are amazing! I saw them in concert before they really hit it big. It was an incredible show. My 7 year old loved it too. They play a lot of popular musical as well as classical.
I would like to introduce you to 2cellos. The instrument is in the name of the group... "cello" ....The player in purple is "Luka" Sulic & the one in cream is Stjepan "Hauser". They are classicly trained master cellists. They have a huge discography where they have covered many popular songs from rock to pop. They also did an album of movie theme songs.... I saw them do a performance on The Ellen Show & they had to stop because Hauser broke all the horse hairs on his bow. When they perform live they do have a drummer for the rock songs & a few of the pop songs. They were discovered by Sir Elton John when they posted their arrangement of Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson on TH-cam. They opened for & played with Sir Elton's band during his concert tours until thier careers took off. I so hope you will do more of the supremely talented young men. I would suggest 2cellos - Mombasa - from the movie Inception - original video, 2cellos - Smells Like Teen Spirit - Live at Sydney Opera House (Nirvana cover). I could go on & on with suggestions but will leave it at two for now...
Isnt there a group called the 5 piano players or something like that. They did a star wars video or maybe it was these guys. But they are a blast to watch because their creative antics in every video.
@@brianadams5996I don't know about that, but 2CELLOS did a team up with a pair of young cellists that were on one of the Got Talent shows (Emil and Dariel). Obviously, it was called 4CELLOS.
As I watch some of these reaction videos what I think the most amazing thing is the look on the faces and I can pinpoint the moment of recognizing and learning something new. Yeah!! ☺️🕊️☮️
That big "violin" is called a cello, hence their name 2Cellos. The cellist on the left is Stjepan Hauser, who is Croatian. The Cellist on the right is Luka Sulic, who is Slovenian. They are awesome! Please listen to more of their covers! Smells Like Teen Spirit, Smooth Criminal, Highway to Hell!!!
Mel! You’re head was weaving and bobbing from the get go... you were definitely feeling it! And yes, y’all responded like when all did when we first saw this. It’s crazy!
Your reaction is hilarious. Loved it. I knew that video for a couple of months so far, but it is still very much fun to see. I my opinion it is still their best work (music & video perfomance)...
Hands down the BEST CONCERT and show Ive ever been to. Love seeing your reaction! Dive into their discography. Well worth it. Their cover of Led Zep's Whole Lotta Love is FIRE! I love the way they blend Rock and Classical, Rock and Pop and Heavy Metal and Classical. Check out their cover/mix of Iron Maidens The Trooper and William Tell's 1812 overture. (Was my first 2Cellos experience) I was absolutely stunned!
They're from Croatia and have filled huge places like the Sydney (Australia) Opera house and others all over the world. There's lots of their videos on You Tube, not hard to find. There is NOTHING else like them!
I'm only half threw. But still your uncut reaction is so fire. So many peeps I watch. They pause every 10 seconds. Love it that you watch straight threw
Thanks guys that performance is so amazingly electric. What amazing way to show what they can do. Never get tired of that. Remember people to first watch original “thunderstruck” by AC/DC. Powerful song that was just meant to be covered by such talents. Wow. Thanks again Shawn and Mel. Glade you were just as awestruck and enjoyed every moment. Recommend video maybe we can make this popular and more cello musicians can be inspired by seeing this who may not have yet.
These two guys are like that movie Fire and Ice. For years, they were constantly competing against each other and butting heads. Finally, they decided to team up. And made history.
Ok... now Try Apocalyptica... more cellos playing more hard rock, covers and originals with guest singers since they don't sing. I have seen them live and they are incredible.
The guy on his back is Stjepan Hauser. He does that live too. He also has a harness so that his cello can be strapped to his chest and he walks around in the audience. He’s also quite a funny flirt.
2cellos are awesome!!! Definitely dive into more of their songs. Both do their own music as well, I'm more fond of Hauser, he is magnificent!!! Both together are absolutely amazing!!!
they are called 2cellos and their names are Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser. they started cello at a young age and met at a music camp at 13 and 14. they have a yt channel and they tour and have concerts. they are classically trained and they have very good stage performance if you will.
Thanks so much for choosing this song! I hope it gets a million likes! Something different for a request. I would love to see you react to these three things. Pentatonix -Hallelujah, Hamilton-My Shot, and Peter Hollens-From Now On. I love your videos! I try not to miss a one. You guys are fantastic and so positive!!
Their live shows are incredible , their version of AC/DC's Highway to Hell live in Italy is absolutely insane .. Oh and they got themselves a drummer too ..He is equally nuts ! Go down this rabbit hole it is a smile fest !
Cellos are like a 20" inch bass speaker in person. A double bass is like 40 inch bass speaker, in other words, most speaker cannot reproduce the bass. You need big speakers and lots of them to get the sounds.
Of course to let it sound as drums you need a giant big ass violin aka a chello. It's kind of in the name. 2 guys playing the chello, 2 chellos. But liked your reaction. They are from Croatia.
These guys are incredible! Plenty of killer rock covers. Check them out. Also look for Luca Stricagnoli, acoustic guitarist who covers rock. He's amazing.
They are from Croatia. The land of Nikola Tesla. So, they are also electric! Left one is Stjepan (read: Styepan) Hauser. Second is Luka Šulić (Shoolich)
Guitars, violins, chellos are hallow, so if you are knowledgable. Thats the drum noises, an they are both students of their Grandfather. Keep up the Good work. 😬🍻
Try there Trooperoverture. First time i seen them i crapped myself. Made me respect the sound of a Bass Chello. It is part of the Bow string Violin family. Think back to all those BeatNic bands of the 50s and 60s. This was the bass in the band Bass ( pronounce Base ) .
Ok, I’m going to be “that guy”. The instruments are called cellos, pronounced chellows . This is a cover of an AC/DC song.
Lol 2 cellos : ahhhhhh a violin lol

Don’t feel bad bro I’m always that guy. I grew up in band and orchestra so I’m a little anal about it.
Someone had to do it. You weren't malicious or condescending. Reaction channels are all about learning so don't be too hard on yourself.
2sellos WAS cute tho..jes sayin

One of the greatest musical performances ever. I get goosies Every Single Time. ♥️🤘
I love the kids in the audience, they were enjoying it. :))
These guys are BEYOND amazing to do classic rock on cellos.
I watched them play WITH OR WITHOUT YOU by U2. It brought tears to my eyes, beautiful.
I had the pleasure to see 2Cellos they are amazing in concert.
This song was the first time I got to hear these two gentlemen and I was blown away. Their music is on point and just amazing.
They are amazing! I saw them in concert before they really hit it big. It was an incredible show. My 7 year old loved it too. They play a lot of popular musical as well as classical.
Their Smooth criminal cover of Michael Jackson is also incredible.
nononononono... their OTHER MJ cover. ("They don't really care about us".)

You two cracked me up just watching your reaction!!! Yes is this not the most fantastic thing you have ever heard or seen!!!!!!

I worked side stage about a month ago and was blown away.... remarkable talent.
The audience was THUNDERSTRUCK!!!
You must listen to " The Trooper Overture ". Its also amazing. But all performance by the Two Chellos are amazing!!! =0)
Yes .. Trooper Overture is amazing .!!
They are playing a "cello", hence the name 2cellos. Not a violin.
was looking for this coment... thank you xD
Mel! You’re head was weaving and bobbing from the get go... you were definitely feeling it! And yes, y’all responded like when all did when we first saw this. It’s crazy!
When Elton John saw their TH-cam of Smooth Criminal, he said "That's my new opening act! Get them!!"
Probably my favorite music video. Ever. The kids bopping and the parents disapproving is my favorite part
The are real. I love your reaction. Underbart. I love the kids in the cowd.
I got to see them in concert...they keep a stash of bows near their chairs because of how they destroy them. They are amazing.
Hey glad you tuned that in. Loved it, now, try for the whole concert, its truly a must watch. Awesome stuff, Saskatchewan Canada 🇨🇦 😊
Your reaction is hilarious. Loved it. I knew that video for a couple of months so far, but it is still very much fun to see. I my opinion it is still their best work (music & video perfomance)...

They have some great covers and some good originals. I like the amazing skill they have in arrangement!
Oh and for recommendation I will say Welcome to the Jungle!
Never thought two guys playing a cello could rock this much until I saw them live. Wow, what a show!

Yes "Way" I've seen them perform and they can pull this off live.

Ohhh, violin! LoL, you killin' me over here 😂
Their fingering is amazing when you realize how heavy those cello strings are.
The left guy in the video is Stjepan Hauser and the uther guy is Luka Sulic. And the Instrument named Chello.
Parents: "I'll have none of this Rock & Roll in my house! You're going to learn the Cello!"
Kids: Challenge accepted.
Their rendition of Hallelujah is beautiful!
If you watch the kids....they were getting off on it....I thought it was incredible....
Check out their version of Highway to Hell featuring Stevie Vai
He’s on his back like the AC/DC guitar player Angus Young lol
My reaction exactly when I first heard these guys💕
👉😳💨
Should see their rendition of Whole Lotta Love
At 7:14, So in the 1980's when musicians remeninsce NOW, about, "Blowing the doors off" NOW, you know what they mean! hahahahahahahahhahaha
The guy on his back is Stjepan Hauser. He does that live too. He also has a harness so that his cello can be strapped to his chest and he walks around in the audience. He’s also quite a funny flirt.
I love how the two red coats just sat there like just another day in Boston😂
"ohhhh violin" lmao

These guys are insane,. you should check out some of their other stuff
Now you have to check out Steve N Seagulls version of this. It’s awesome
You guys were fun. Yeah it was that good. Some of it was dubbed with their electric cellos, likely that last high note. But yeah, they are that good.
Cellos ! It´s Cellos ;) --- " Cellos
isn’t music just the BEST thing
America's got talent is there first time they were so young
