- Today I came across a section of the river with a promising gravel bar with some larger boulders mixed in. The question was, Would there be any gold in it ?
Nevertheless it was a lovely secluded spot high up the Scottish hills and yes, I did find a few specs of the good stuff. The gold is not always guaranteed but you will definitely get wet, definitely get dirty and bitten !
If you are new to gold panning or are wanting to find out more about this great hobby, then my videos might give you that insight you've been looking for. There is gold in the UK.

Thanks Niallchef. Always searching ...👍
Well done.the gold and the video.
Hi Pete, Just enough gold to make a video. It was hard work but worth for all the right reasons
Great Video Daz Thanks for Sharing.
You're welcome buddy 👍
Great video as always Daz! I appreciate the effort and clear explanation. The content is well, structured and engaging, making it easy to follow along. Keep up the awesome work, looking forward to more informative and quality videos from you! Them Midggies!!!
Thank you Jon, a bit like your self. We all have to start from somewhere on this TH-cam journey and it certainly makes you become creative with all the gear you acquire over the years.
I wish someone would have warned me about how much time you'd spend in the little editing room at home that all of a sudden becomes such an essential necessity. 👍😊
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures 😂😂😂
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures I spend more time editing than I do actually doing the activity 😂
@@AdrenalinePitStop No ever talks about this 😁
Another great looking place and some gold thank you DAZ P1 for sharing bro 👍 👏
Nice spot for sure with a bit of potential. None of that fine heavy yellow material here.
I may have to pay it another visit 👍
I always think Daz, like your cycling, your never in it for the glory, your in it for the joy of what you do. Brilliant. The sound of that rippling water is beautiful. Hope you’re well Daz and take care.

It's all for the love of it Steve. Had a cracking little ride out yesterday. Just shy of 80 miles into Chipping from Whalley and Clitheroe from my home town in the Pennines . Had a lovely sweet chili sausage roll at the farm shop then back home via Longridge and over the tops near Shadsworth to Haslingden and Rising Bridge. 260 miles this week buddy. Hope you are well too my friend

Plodding along Daz, just plodding along on my Raleigh Revenio 😎👍
@@lcsdw01 They are an extremely good bike and great value for money. Both you and I can vouch for that 😁👍
Nice video Daz. I like your attitude and philosophy. It's about being out there in the fresh air and nature; getting exercise. Any gold found is a bonus😃
Absolutely Ian, it's a proper detox from the humdrum of day to day living and working.
Nice. A few flakes may seem disappointing for viewers that don't go prospecting, but it's a return for your efforts and a great indication that it's there to be found. Thanks Daz that was a great video 👍🏻⚒️🏴
The good thing is, we now know it's there and there's none of the Pyromorphite yellow stuff which is a pain to pan through
I've found in life being dirty is the best thing in life. Great video Daz.
You know when you're up to your knees in muck and then the spade goes through that stinky layer that it doesn't get any better 🙂
Where there's muck there's brass... :o)
That's what they say 😀 but not in my case 🤔
Subscribed for your cycling adventures but love watching all the gold panning ones too. Your enthusiasm comes over great. Though I miss seeing Mike 😅
Hi Simon, I have got a few more gold prospecting videos to edit and then I will get some back logged cycling ones sorted out. Cheers pal 👍
When you count more specs than you've got fingers, that's a great result in the UK! Nice video - thanks! :o)
Hey up, that's a nice way of putting it SGP.
This was a late afternoon early evening session so I was pleased to find what I did.
Hi, Mr Daz Great Channel! Honestly, I would like searching for those hearts of the sun but as far (40 years of search) I only find ammonites, snails, old coins . But, one of these days...
If you are on the beaches on the east coast, look for the Black sands, there could be gold in the top layer
Did you loose something down the burn at the end of your vid there?
My blue gloves were in the water swirling around when I went back to get the camera
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures glad you got them back
Phew. I thought it was another snuffer bottle run away. Haha nice show thank you .
I had a last double check before I set off for good and spotted them in a stretch of slack water.
Here sir
Hello Mouldy T , hope you are well
We'll never know what was on your sandwhiches......
I had lunch at the camp and then headed out into the hills later on in the afternoon on this occasion.
The chase is better than the catch, motorhead !
Good old Lemmy 👌😊
Hi Daz, thought it was an alien in the burn at first glance but it was just you. I often say was it a good idea well too often. I'll tell you a little story about things in the ear, mountain biking I sat down in the heathers to have a bite to eat. That night I could hear and feel something in my ear it turned out to be a tick ,had to go to hospital to get it sorted they literally pulled it out with forceps 😢
OMG that sounds dreadful. It could have burrowed into your brain.
