I am so looking forward to See you grow your channel. Iâve been inspired by the way you set up your eco system tanks. Which I finally started with a 10 gallon. I wish I can show you a picture.
Thatâs awesome! I would love to see a picture of the tank! You can send it to me over Facebook or Instagram! I have an account setup on both platforms!
I originally had issues with Corys. I recommend being a pain at the local fish store and ask them to all be bagged individually when you buy them. They survived for me after doing that. I never verified it but I was told they may release toxins under stress and if they are all bagged together it can affect their health during transition. Plus they have barbs in a tight space. A prick from one of these can lead to an infection on an affected fish.
I had shrimp and guppies together and they were good the only thing I had a problem I with fish out what I kept with shrimp was my dwarf frogs but endlers and guppies seemed to beneficial to the shrimp because it have them a lot of things to eat since guppies are messy
Hey Talisa, when you get to a point in your Betta experiment of raising and selling them in groups, I was thinking... hopefully their potentially aggressive nature would not be like 'activated' during shipping or even just having their environment changed??? Just wondered if it would not be prudent to potentially test some of these scenarios before getting to excited? Cause I am honestly really interested and curious as to wether you are in uncharted territory that could change how people keep bettas??? Idk, I believe its possible that 'conventional wisdom' may literally have alot to do with how fish keepers regard these fish. Either that or they just simply are inherently aggessive hahaba.
Hereâs a little of how I set up my fishroom. I have lots of build videos too as I was putting this room together. Fish Room Tour for Maggie! th-cam.com/video/WMR38geGSPQ/w-d-xo.html

i too cannot keep any corys alive. I have tried a single one, nope. I tried a small set of 3, nope. I got a pack of 9, they went one after another with no signs of why. I just assume theres always gonna be certian fish that just doesnt do well in waters of areas they werent raised in. I bet if i found locally bred corys id get them to live and maybe you could too but im not willing to lose more fish to test a theory lol. I just got me some endlers and then i realized i got no females so im working on that next is getting some ladies for my fellas. Ive got about 10 white cloud minnows and a handfull of fancy goldfish all together in about 150 maybe its 200 gallons its hard to judge as its a repurposed spa.
I like the idea of the two levels with 40s above the 20s. Itâll look really sleek. This isnât a great tour of my fish room but it shows what the area looks like. th-cam.com/users/shortsDiWHGFBJ6Lc?si=FBN-A8ZBDn-y9YFa
As soon as I took my Endlers and guppies out of all my shrimp tanks, the shrimp populations exploded. They both eat shrimp, mostly the pregnant females.
So much fun!!ð
I find your little 3 gallon tank cute. Just a little aquarium bucket ð§ðŠĢ
I already love Squid
Another female fish keeper!!! Great video. MD tanks has a great racking system that im obsessed with.
I will have to go check it out ð MD is so cool!
I think the 75 gallons for betta sounds really interesting. I totally think itâs possible to find success this way ð good luck
Thanks! Iâm excited for the experiment!
G8t plan for new set up...
Thank you!

Thanks for that advice! That makes sense!

if youre breeding shrimp it would be best if they dont have any tank mates
Thatâs what Iâm thinking ðĪ
Bristlenose plecos are awesome for shrimp, though.
Sorry to hear about Sebastian ðĒ
Thank you âĪ

These are all things I have also been thinking about! I am curious to see if they remain bonded and peaceful under stress, such as shipping.

Good to know! Thanks! Looks like my shrimp will need tanks of their own!
