Thanks, very clear and useful video. The yellow relays E and F both control the wiper motor. I've done my own repairs on a dozen cars I've owned over the years; the A class is BY FAR the most infuriating car to work on. One problem is that there seem to be many variants of even a given spec like A169. Even finding the relay box took me two days and examples vary with it it being above the fuse box or here, as mine was. The carpet is bonded to the foam and polystyrene. I found it impossible to lift and instead had to cut through it. That huge slab of polystyrene also had to be broken away by chipping, there was no way to pull it out on mine. (All done with no guarantee that the relay box would even be beneath). Removing the cover of the relay panel (the holed panel on the k100 module) was also a pain (no screws, a single tab recessed deeply on the left edge that, even when rammed back, required leverage from a screw driver to pull the cover off). All in all I spent one of the most miserable weeks of my life simply trying to remove a relay. Every other car I've ever worked on would need no more than five minutes to find and replace a relay. It's been a similar tale on any other jobs I've done on it. My strong advice to anyone buying a doer-upper is don't, there are hundreds of cars that are built with repair in mind, this is most definitely not one of them.
I have an A150 W169 for the wife. Heater has died and also the reversing lights doh! Looking at a new heater motor as the pollen filter was under water. There is a drain hole under it which blocks up with leaves.
hi mate i have the same problem but also my wipers glovebox light ciggerate lighter and blind light has stop working wud u say that cud b the module i have a w169 2010 a180 cdi model
