I think because he was the first one that did that. They were performing in times square before MSG and he dropped that HOL! track so unexpectedly and shocked everyone lmao cause....it's fuckin Four Tet, wtf is HE doing dropping shit like that right? But then skrillex, being the mastermind that he is, embraced it and played it through and used it to mix in another song, and I think that's how it got carried over into the MSG performance and kinda just became a humorous moment of like, "iykyk", with them bringing it back 3 times in the form of some kind of Riddim interruption
@@chrisfahren Ha ha yeah- reminds me of when Virtual Riot trolled the crowd on a set by starting it off with a German kids song, then no fade cut into the downbeat of the Marauda- Casket drop and then spin down the track. XD the crowd was slightly annoyed but then it got real when he started playing the unreleased One Two with Pray for Riddim.

U realise it's not as soon as u get into it, same with other people and our DJ software. My friend thought i was doing sth for school when Rekordbox was open on my pc but after he got into it he learned it pretty fast
Wow it’s really basic. Get your head down and you’ll be able to do that in no time
do exactly as he does and you cant go wrong, plus your a DJ, just think of it as 24/32/128 track mixing ^^. same shi only wayy more control. a daw is a loop controller.

But one note: on the end it seems rather pushed/overproduced... the beat at 4 min alone is fuckign amazing. More is just taking away focus from the simple beauty of the song

4:27 I blasted that song on the PA this morning while I was tyin' my shoes about to bounce to work!! hell yeah man
Tried out the gate effect on FL studio with grossbeat and it works awesome too. Abletons morph is 100% more refined but I was able to replicate it somewhat easily using grossbeat!
Also - on FL, there's a knob in the Step Sequencer on the top right that we can just turn up for swing!
Pretty sure that's a separate vst, morph, is epic though no doubt
