It surprises me so much that Aquataine isn't mentioned more often when it comes to the 5th doctor. It's an amazing story and i would say it's also a very fitting story for new listeners
great recommendations I already picked up a couple of these their amazing. Although I didnt know where to start with 2nd and 3rd doctors so , I definitely check those out , particularly the Annihilators as I m big fan of s7.
I recently started listening to Big Finish stuff again after picking up a humble bundle with a bunch of random stories. I started with I, Davros, which I'd listened to years ago and then moved on to Dark Eyes 1-4. I'm thinking about something around the time war next, but i can't work out where to start between Doctor Who Time War, Gallifrey Time War, and all the other Master/War Doctor stuff. The Big Finish website doesn't seem at all helpful for finding an entry point.
Nice to see the 5th Doctor getting quite the variety of recommendations, considering you've said in the past he's never been your favourite. Just a question, is the 5th Doctor (or was) your least favourite Doctor?
So question i just start with big finish and decided to start with the war room box sets. So far they seem pretty new listener friendly but was was wondering if i needed to go back farthest in the series. Also where a good jumping on point for the war master with out going back to the first volume
War Room is perfect and doesn’t really require jumping back. I would jump back simply because the series before (especially the original Gallifrey) series is great. The only Box Set I found underwhelming from War Master is Box Set 3. Anti-Genesis & Hearts of Darkness are good ones to look into.
@_TJProductions I may jump back eventually but I like buying the ones I can get the cd and download for and a lot of the older stories are out of print. Besides I've noticed that this can get super expensive so going to far back isn't the most financially smart decision.
I'm exploring big finish catalog and I have a question. Is there any jumping on points for torchwood I haven't been able to find anyone on TH-cam talking about that series for big finish

Enjoyed this - good work mate
I'm a big fan of the Lost Stories range. A ranking or opinion video would be my cup of tea.
I've been debating doing a ranking/overview video on The Lost Stories range. See what happens.
Good video I love big finish audio I listen to big finish on sound cloud and I will get some big finish audio on TV
Yeah, either favorite Doctor or the Eighth Doctor Adventures with Lucie for the sake of straightforward consistency.
Great video, i might start off my big finish adventure with some of the ninth doctor

You might like James Michener's novels. He uses time and place very effectively. Sagas that take place over centuries but also very detailed writing.
This is amazing. I'm so glad someone made this

The upcoming Intelligence for War released October should be your cup of tea too. Sounds very Season 07 in its themes.
I’m a big fan of the eight doctor adventures for BF, John Dorney in particular is a highlight for that range imo

Don't dislike any incarnation. The 5th Doctor has been slowly growing on me. But yes, he was my least favourite incarnation at a point.
