Animal Well is a Delightful Experience

Animal Well flew onto the radar in 2024 thanks to videogamedunkey and his new publishing company Bigmode. Being a fan of his channel, I knew I would give the game a shot, and I came away really pleased with my experience. So let tell you about my experience with the first ever well-type game.
Minor spoilers present. I only mention the items that appear in the game trailer and keep my gameplay descriptions vague so you can experience Animal Well for yourself.
Animal Well (2024) is a metroidvania game developed by Shared Memory (Billy Basso) and published by Bigmode.
I initially played Animal Well in 2024 on my PC.

my favorite part of the game was the fishing quest where i was supposed to make a lure with the paperclip and the crayon but just nuked the water to get all the fish at once ^_^
