Oxymoron is different from antithesis.
In oxymoron, the opposite words are such that one of them is an adjective which describes the second word for example "silent rage". Here, silent and rage are not opposites but they are contradictory because rage cannot be silent, rage means anger which will be violent and so, silent rage seems to be the use of such an adjective which is in opposition to the word described.
However, antithesis is the use of opposite words like in this poem "old and young". The words are opposites to each other.
