He speaks the truth and knows the truth, I set us free
I ‘m a seventy-six-year-old writer and have been a seeker of truth most of my life. Eckhart has taught me the true meaning of letting go of my ego and remaining in the Now.
Fantastic testimony young man! Yes, I too always like to hear what Tolle has to say. I ended up in a tradition called Drukama. Give it a look if you get a chance. be well!
Yes sir, it's a blessing to get unburdended, free of time, free of ego , nothing to defend and protect , no loads on the back to carry and drag, this illusion of ego sucks up huge energy as it's very venerable, fearfull and weak and needs constant caring and protection
SO I FOLLOW THIS CHAP MOST MAKES SENSE, BUT WHAT IF SOMEONE IS TRULY AGAINST YOU AND ITS OUT OF YOUR HANDS AND MINDS CONTROL. LIKE A BULLY IN POWER? OUT OF MY CONTROL BUT HE HATES ME?
You could have just attended vipassana ...
@@starwarrier479 I have met Vipassana students, if we don't get guidelines time to time.. little difficult to understand ourselves, I am also a student of Vipassana friend but still need to communicate 🤗
So grateful to have discovered Eckhart Tolle at 18. I am now 25 and still come back to his teachings and am still inspired by him. His teachings have to be experienced and only then will you really understand what he is talking about. Thank you Eckhart !
Consciousness flowering… blooming…
There is no measure of what this man is doing for the planet. This instrument of SOURCE is reaching the world. Praise the LORD
Truly he is an incredible blessing for the Earth.
I can't get enough of his teachings. Could listen to him for hours :)
Chris Nichols sane here Chris his presence is amazing 😉
yes, but I am hating Karen's constant "hm mm", really not necessary and distracting after every sentence he says, I wish she shut up lol
One Eckhart Tolle video a day - helps in keeping identification with ego away :)
this will soon save the planet!
Thanks. This is what I am doing exactly right now :)
See what u did there;)
lol so true ^^
☺️👏🏻
I'm addicted to TH-cam because of Eckhart Tolle 😂
is the addiction starting to take a toll?
We all are,he is sooo..sweet and wonderful!
What a wonderful addiction
Me too
What a wonderful sense of humour he has. Could listen to him for hours.
I really want to see him in person!!! He's changed my life. I love him.
"The greatest gift to give someone is pure attention." Many say love is the best gift, but love is made of this.

I know what I’m getting everyone for Christmas. Pure attention 😊
I have seen this conversation With Eckhart and Karen many times, and just love it.Peace and love from Denmark
Such sweet open fun and enthusiasm and such dear presence. Thank you Eckhart
This made me smile. I loved it when she ripped up the questions. I love her spirit!
Thank you both! 🦋✨🌈
This is Eckhart in 2014. I haven't listened to him for a few years now so I was pleasantly surprised how much the NOW observations he always talks about have become warm and humorous. His spiritual being and human personality seem quite married to each other. His comfortableness is reassuring to me....
That is a true and genuine observation . I felt the same way . It seemed to me ;at the beginning , he was some what aloof , proclaiming the truth to the world , and that was his body language . The essence of what he said then and now is the same .
Why do you want assurance?
Tryin2findout I have exactly the same experience. He has grown to be sooo adorable genuinely human WOW ! Sure does help me to forward also. Thanks for pointing this out.
When I began my Dharma journey I didn't want to hear anything from the mouth of a western man. It's been almost 4 years and I'm doing it for the first time. I find Mr. Tolle to be witty, profound, lighthearted, serious and humorous...all at the same time.
Namaste 💖🙏
Eventually even a Western woman’s truth may reach you. I hope your openness expands this far.😊
My dog saved my life and taught me unconditional love and selflessness. Preparing me for awakening 💫 who else can relate?? Happy 12-12-12!
*Lol! Awesome. I love animals. I ended up in a tradition called Drukama, check it out if you get the chance Be well!*
I had a cat that saved my life. She kept me here.
Yep stopped me from jumping on to the highway
Sure, if you’re focused on the present moment, you won’t be ruminating on your problems. But that doesn’t mean you don’t have any problems. If you don’t have any money and you’re homeless, that problem doesn’t go away merely because you stop thinking about it.
I know Tolle spent some time homeless, and he didn’t feel like he had a problem. But it’s possible to have problems and not realize it. Being in a state of ignorant bliss is no use if your life falls apart around you. If I close my eyes while driving, the other cars are still there.
And what if you’re out walking and an angry dog chases you and bites hold of your leg? You can focus on your breathing all you want, but the problem still exists.
@@MrClarkkent2001 we can create any reality we choose to and it remains ours. What does it matter to me if others say that is not consistent with their view? It means nothing to my life if I choose not to be influenced by their opinions. We can exist with dual realities. A problem only exists if we see it as one. No money may be a problem for someone reliant on that value to life, someone else may view it as opportunity.
An eloquent delivery of subtle realities woven with humour & playfulness. ...an art within itself.
He awakens at his own pace as we all do.
The most delightful thing for myself is his expression of the validated dance between our own story and the devine presence.
Couldn't agree more ! He is wonderful
The guru is the equal of all the buddhas. To make any connection with him, whether through seeing him, hearing his voice, remembering him or being touched by his hand, will lead us toward liberation. To have full confidence in him is the sure way to progress toward enlightenment. The warmth of his wisdom and compassion will melt the ore of our being and release the gold of the buddha-nature within.
🌹🙇🙇🙇
Yes so true💜💜💜 🙏 🌹🌹😅😅
Nice
Love Eckhart's sense of humour in this video! It makes his very accessible. Great talk :)
is just incredible to exist at the same "time (lol)" as Eckhart in this earth, he is truly a rare gem for humanity at this point.
I really love his sense of humor... 26:07 LOL wtf , I did NOT expect that
Thanks for this time stamp! It's even more true and frequent, now it's already a disorder
😂
That is too funny! Thanks for pointing it out.
I am deeply grateful for the gifts of awakening and humor that is Ekhart Tolle. 🥰🤗💞

He truly is a Pointer - to living on the positive path of present moment focus & present moment lining. Om Om 🧘♀️
This is so....refreshing to my soul...thank you...
technology is the reason i can see these videos...and for that I am grateful
You said it :)
He's not saying technology is bad. He said it has great potential (such as sharing information). But it's the obsession w/ it that is dangerous.
yep. FORM can be useful.
but.. he seems awesomely correct!
but technology keeps you from going out and talk to people also. for thousands of years people sat together around the fire discussing things like that, now we stay at home and watch trash tv and commercials.
This is so great
I love trees and dogs

I love Tolle's teachings!
for now you do until you grow up and find the truth
Thank you Eckhart for your answer to my questioning myself when others tell me I 'need structure and a plan" my mind goes into a jumble. In toastmasters 20 years ago I won every aware when it was impromptu questions directed at me. When they told me I had to write a speech and present it I couldn't do it, it was a mess... because that moment passed and this was the moment to allow Source to come through. I am dealing with that right now where a beautiful and inspiring friend wants a lot of structure in a workshop we were hoping to do together... this woman is a gem, but I realized I may have to bow out as I could make her crazy and I would feel stifled if I couldn't go with the flow of those in the room. Thank you for making me realize, I don't 'need' to do it another way.

@@MrClarkkent2001 2 years ago I wrote that. It holds true for me today. Yes, 'problems' can arise, but they really aren't problems when you stay in present moment awareness-- they are curious opportunities for shifting a belief -healing a old wound, so a reaction is entirely different than one of the past that may have kept you stuck. For instance, a friend and client wanted to pay me 1/4 of my normal rate and insisted she couldn't afford more even though she was spending tons of money on expensive things that she didn't even need for at least a year. For a moment i was angry and hurt. I felt she didn't value me or my gifts. I knew it was an opportunity for growth and not blame or victim-hood, and asked myself where those feeling were first felt. I went back to childhood and sat with that for a bit, and then asked if I could see it through my adult eyes and not the child's projection. In that moment compassion swept through me and the issue vanished. Suddenly new information came to me, ideas I had not previously been able to see, as I had taken it as an all or none situation. I could then lovely go back to this person and say, "No problem, I am happy to help you but I will be adding my commissions to purchases (instead of passing my designer discounts on to her) and I will be taking other jobs to subsidize my income and assist you the best I can." Not exactly that, it seems to come out far more eloquently when one is flowing in the moment, but you get my point, solutions always come. If a dog bit me, I guess I would ask myself why I didn't instinctively know to stay away for that animal, because as with people, you can feel their vibration before I even see a person or thing, or if bit, deal with your possibilities in that moment. I did run into a very large bear one late fall evening as I was leaving a deserted structure after taking photos a few years ago. I actually recently wrote about it on my blog a couple months ago because coming face to face unexpectedly with this beautiful creature was amazing and I have never forgot those magical moments. I never felt fear. I was about 10 feet from it , it seemed to be 4-5' tall on all fours. We just starred at each other after coming to an abrupt stop. All I could think of was how beautiful its big brown eyes were, how magnificent, and the magic of its long fur catching the last rays of sunlight on that fall eve. After several moments, I gently raised my hand and pointed to the bank and forest a short distance behind it and calmly but firmly said, "Go home- go home now, go back into the forest now" It just continued to stare at me so I said it again.and it turned walked down the bank and stop for a moment to turn back look at me and disappeared into the forest. I drove back to the retreat center I was staying at and shared the experience with the director, who immediately said, "You should never look directly into the eyes of these bears!" I am glad I wasn't told that before I had this encounter, because I might have believed him and held fear instead of love. Fear is what keeps us from living fully. (No recklessly, but lovingly)

@@AngelicaChristi beautifully explained and thanks for your story too i really enjoyed it beautiful lady
"Time to take a selfie!" hahaha... I love Eckhart's sense of humour.
26:30 "Where are we again?" adorable. Nothing better than sacred and funny at the same time!
Eckhart you are a current of pure spirit consciousness, the truth, the freedom of what being truly human is and understanding other humans, you are changing the world with your words, and I thank you from the bottom of my soul. Also, I love you bunches...
joeforHistruth whats your deal. Eckhart understands the way things are. it requires no faith. what makes your truth, the truth
joeforHistruth i get it now. you get your truth from a book full of mataphors and take it a literal fact. you've been brainwashed my friend.
its truth pal :)
The teachings of many a man wiser than I. but i fear there is no truth other than what you can find yourself. What word of god has not been tamperd and alterd by man to suit a specific agenda. thats why i cannot subscribe to any organised religon. the closest we can be to god is to learn from people like the buddah and jesus. or Eckhart tolle and alan watts. their messages are all the same.
joeforHistruth In what exact way is presence and abiding in being present not compatible with the truth that Jesus taught us? Have you read Mathew 6:34, Isaiah 34:18, Ecclesiastes 5:18, Psalm 118:2? There is a level to knowing Christ and his teachings that you do not seem to have enjoyed. It would appear that you have allowed your pastors or whoever taught you what you believe to poison you to the real truth of Christs teachings. There is nothing in what Eckhart teaches that is not totally congruent with the teachings of Christ. It is sad that you cannot know the true love of Christ because you have buried it under fundamentalist religious dogma. I pray that you will know the deception you have made into a belief system that separates you from God. I really do.
you just got to love this young man .Eckhart you just make my day 🙏💖🙏💖🙏💖
An amazing session as usual. I really enjoy eckharts wisdom. Been a follower for many years. Truely wonderful. Peace and love to all..... 💘

Wonderful as always ❤️🙏❤️
OMG SOOO beautiful, full of clarifying awakeners! Love the dog and tree references. Thank you, Thankyou, Thankyou.
BarbaraL Lowell Have you heard of the term, I show you in airplane and you are looking in to my finger ? Not everything you hear is the truth, cause the ego is the self and is the desire, age it self can control it, as the person get older,he can't do things he use to and he mixt consciousness with knowledge .what you don't know you don't know . consciousness is what you are aware off, awareness is the key .
manny mo I read your comment twice and still am not sure what you are attempting to share - and I'd like to know. Would you be willing to take the time to reword it so that I Can know?
If there is a saying "I show you in airplane and you are looking into my finger", and it does not include typos, I haven't heard of it and don't follow it. But again, I'd like to.
***** Well it's sample what I means by I show you is, I point my finger in to in airplane, and you are looking in the finger, not the airplane, That means I'm talking about something much higher, and you are thinking of something much lower . The ego is nothing but our desire , the bigger it is the harder to control , as you may know age can cause a person to control his or her desire, cause he/she can't do things he/she use too. hope you understand .have a good day
manny mo Yes, I got it that time and I agree. Thanks for taking the time to explain. You have a good day too!
+camabelu e Pain, illness, loss, age and death seem to threaten. All my hopes and wishes and plans appear to be at the mercy of a world I cannot control. Yet perfect security and complete fulfillment are my inheritance. I have tried to give my inheritance away in exchange for the world I see. But God has kept my inheritance safe. The world I see holds a fearful self-image in place, and guarantees its continuance. While you see the world as you see it now, truth cannot enter awareness. I would let the door behind this world be opened for me, that I may look past it to the world that reflects the Love of God and the Son of God. Behind every image made, the truth remains unchanged. Behind every veil drawn across the face of love, its light remains undimmed. Beyond all insane wishes is *my will*, united with the Will of my Father. God is still everywhere and in everything *forever*. And we who are part of Him will yet look past all appearances, and recognize the truth beyond them all.
Thank you for sharing your personal story about your parents, it’s helpful to understand the process of becoming awake. Thank you very much eckhart!

@@MrClarkkent2001 sure, things happen in life. Nobody said random things don’t happen because we are peaceful. It is your response to what happens, and the interpretation and cognitive or emotional weight you attribute to what happens, that defines being awake. But these words don’t matter if you don’t resonate with them…it is not for me to say what being conscious and alert is for you.

& who knows how mucho further he go's ... RESPECTING Grtzzz
i so enjoy this Beloved one who has such truth and has walked the walk I beleive. One thing is for me the Ego is a wonderful tool and from my perception needs to be recognised in the essense of what it is. In my view you cannot get rid of the ego and nor should you. You are on this planet and need to function here also, the ego gets us to DO what is required here. The negative Ego however is something different. Loving the Neg ego is in my view a way to bring this more into a loving consciusness rather than a judgement. Lifting into the Higher Conscioiusness above the drama and the story is what we are learning. Always a choice. The neg ego of course wants to go into the judgments of what it thinks. Blessings to this Beloved I am grateful for his presence
I love it! thanks.
originaly i come from philippines i come to Australia !986 tell now i am 67 years old i am Australian now thank you
I've started getting into Tolle, largely through youtube so far, perhaps I'll end up reading his two books someday. If I had to summarize his philosophy in two words, I'd say he's a mental minimalist. His identification with attention, alertness, conscious awareness, "presence" or mental space as opposed to the thoughts, feelings and sensations within that space, or with memories, reason, ideas, emotions, etcetera, says a lot about his philosophy and his appreciation of emptiness, nothingness and simplicity. Just as our houses can be cluttered with too much crap, old crap, useless crap, crap that obstructs things, prevents new things from getting in their, so too can the mind be cluttered with biases, prejudices and negativity, sometimes we need to do psychic spring cleaning, let go of the past, future, live more in the present, that's how we learn, by paying attention as opposed to making all sorts of assumptions about how things are or should be. Nothing in excess, we need to think, but there is this tendency in many, if not all of us, to overthink, and let life, which happens in the present, pass us by, there is this tendency to plan too and overanalyze, and mankind would probably benefit from a little more presence. Space, whatever it is, if it is, that's a metaphysical question, physical space is more, or it's completely monolithic, so perhaps that's why Tolle associates compassion with identification with mental space as opposed to thoughts and feels, because our thoughts and feelings vary, where as space is uniform, so too identify with psychic space, is to make man uniform, so too love another, is no different than loving oneself. However, I'll have to think more about this, just as the space differs in physical rooms, it probably also differs in peoples heads, some may have more of it than others, and it may be shaped differently. Nothing in excess, eastern thought, Buddhism, Daoism and Zen in particular, not so much Hinduism and Confucianism, tend to emphasize minimalism, where as western philosophy and science tend to emphasize maximalism, more is more, you can never have enough information, knowledge, fuck, even material things, fame, fortune, wealth, power, pleasure... In the west, despite a few exceptional thinkers here and there, ambiguity, ignorance and mystery are derided, where as the east, they're celebrated. Both John Locke and Lao Tzu spoke of a Tabula Rasa, but with Locke and others, this is merely a starting point, this isn't a goal, but a means to an end, to do away with empirical and logical fallacies, to build knowledge on a firmer foundation, where as for Lao Tzu, the blank slate is the goal, to operate on instinct, or intuition, or to only have as many ideas as one needs.
I don't think philosophy is the point, and I don't think he is making a point. The questioner here throws away her questions. That's the message, and that's the experience. Zen can't be named. Etc.
@joeforHistruth Or at least a few Ghirardelli Carmel chocolate squares.
