As a lay Catholic who is surrounded by many confused peers within The Church, your videos are so comforting and helpful.
Praying for the Lord to give us mighty shepherds to defend our church.
God help us out of all of this confusion! We know who the author of confusion is. I see his hand at work in our world and now clearly in the church. But we need to remain strong and you and your ministry are helping us to do just that. Thank you and may God abundantly bless your ministry.

As an Eastern Catholic, I am aware of what the structure of a Synod is and should be. This was and is not a carbon copy of what we in the Eastern Churches do. We trust our bishops as the successors of the apostles, whom are highly educated and prayerful to pass on the 2000 + years of faith to us! Whenever I listen to you Ralph whom I believe to be a voice of reason and moderation, it helps me to stay calm & balanced as I can go off like a roman candle. Just a simple thanks for dissecting this idea of a paradigm shift which in a nut shell is stating the Church needs to change instead of directing souls to repent & sin no more. I am amazed that this is being considered.
This makes me so sad for Our Lord. But now is not the time to exit . . . now is the time to be faithful to Jesus & stay strong in Him. Thank you so much for standing firm & being a light of faith!

God bless you, Professor Martin. Sometimes all we can do is cling to Christ. The Barque of Peter has been sailing towards disaster for decades, but she remains within the firm grasp of Our Lord. Even if he allows her to shatter against the rocks, she will be raised again. We have His promise that evil will not prevail.
Why even entertain that Our Lord could let His Bride be so.damaged. Christ promised the Gates of Hell will nor prevail against Her. Lord Jesus does not lie.
I don’t comment much but so many thoughts crossed my so called mind during this video I felt compelled to write something.
This latest missive seems to me to be written in the sort of ‘super language’ that smacks of purposeful obfuscation.
Thank God we have you Ralph to interpret and make sense of what is being said, and for having the humility to point out that there are parts of it that are very opaque to you also.
It brings to mind the many large company mission messages that can be interpreted many different ways, but are designed to make the reader give up trying to understand and for him make a decision that it’s above his pay grade, and just ‘go along’ with what ever is decided rather than question things, show lack of understanding and look stupid in front of his peers.
We need to be SO careful here that we don’t get sucked into a ‘Ho hum’ philosophy and accept without questioning and perhaps tragically falling from the ‘narrow path’ as a result.
So many people getting lulled into a false sense of security thinking the synod is already over and nothing happened, without realizing the battle has just begun and we’re going to go through 12 more months of undermining the deposit of faith…

It was called relativism in the past. We discussed how troubling this idea was and where it could lead. Sadly we have arrived. We can listen but the most important thing is the salvation of souls. Repentance and faith in Christ needs to be the primary goal. This should be made crystal clear….
Dr Martin please continue to be there for us. In these dark times we need the light of truth. I am not sure how this new idea of theology will affect our seminaries and universities and schools… so it seems like new materials will
have to be written and developed to promote this new ideology .
It may be a good idea while the time is here to republish the hard copies of sound doctrine books and materials before they are banned.

Thank you for addressing what has been made known to us by the church. Word salad is not uncommon these days, which of course still leaves us wondering. Reminds me of some Marxist/socialist papers I read from the 60’s. Stringing a lot of words together to make them look smart, but saying nothing.

I was led out of the church about 30 years ago by progressive ideology, moral relativism, feminism etc., and it took many many years for me to make my way back. Along the way, I ditched ALL those progressive ideas and I never felt freer, more joyful or at peace. I’m not going back there. There is objective truth and moral relativism seeks to obscure it.
REPENT 😢REPENT 😢 this is the basic message should be delivered by the Pope and Bishops 🙏✝️⛪️

Hello Dr Martin, I’m reading your book “ A Church in Crisis A Pathway Forward “ and I want you to know that this work has strengthened my Faith and Zeal. Jesus Christ is not to watered down to accommodate anyone. Remember the martyrs, stay strong and put on the Armour of God.
So glad you have picked up on this Ralph. When I read it a couple of weeks ago I was deeply disturbed by it, and so have been surprised by how few people have commented on it. Some of the more progressive Catholic publications have written on it, and they would give further cause for alarm.
This letter reminds me of a paper I would have wrote in college for a liberal professor on a topic I didn’t really understand.
Thank you Ralph. You are the most charitable person I know. I would be a lot less charitable when trying to go through the word salads issued by the Pope’s cohorts who are deliberately trying to change the teachings of Jesus Christ through deceptive and ambiguous language.

We are in the days St Paul warned us of in 2 Timothy..."For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: and will indeed turn their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables".... St Paul also warns us to "shun profane and vain babblings( that's what this document sounds like) for they grow much towards ungodliness." Oh Lord, help us to be wise, discerning and steadfast in the whole truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

A lot of nonsense seems to be coming out of the synod. It certainly shows that our Lord is shaking his Body from being too comfortable and mediocre in their Faith. It will take the strong and faithful to stand undeterred and lead the charge to guide the sleeping sheep, come what may. Our Lord will guide us and we must hold his banner upright and we will win.

Is in the Vatican actually kind of stepping on the toes of Galatians 1:8? I find what you’re reading about extremely confusing. And I get a little bit upset that the Vatican is going to bring confusion to the people. Why isn’t Pope Francis leading us to Jesus? Why is he getting so hung up on human things? And so concerned with the environment instead of spiritual things? I’m glad that you’re starting to speak on these topics. We need someone of sound mind to help us work through this confusion.
Just remember where confusion comes from.

My heart breaks from confusion and my soul longs for clarity. Catholics should hold fast to all truths in a time where words spoken are either meaningless or eclipse the splendor of truth. Jesus is the way, the truth & the life. He built His Church, the pillar and foundation of truth. Truth is unchanging. It’s a time to speak out in charity & truth. If more laity would speak the truth, error could be exposed. If you disagree with the new orthodoxy you get canceled. No accompaniment or mercy shown. For faithful clergy it is indeed tyrannical with no rights or protection from canon law.

Where will all this end? When will it all end? I left several evangelical/protestant denominations for exactly what is beginning to happen in the original Church.

Thank you for helping us to have clarity in all these confusing words. It sounds like double talk, double speak, meant to confuse us.
The demonic got a strong hold over humanity in 2020, and we keep spiraling downhill ever since. We lost track of the purpose of this life: to choose God and make it to Heaven. We've made this life the most important thing and being comfortable a priority. There is nothing comfortable with the Catholic faith as it has been handed down by Jesus and the Apostles, and in the modern world of ultimate comfort, that's a problem. Many saints have willingly given their lives knowing the promise of Heaven. The fear the modern Christians have of death speaks volumes to the depth of their faith--or lack there of. It isn't a surprise in this context that we would collectively want to change Catholic teaching to make it more "comfortable."
Please Ralph continue on your course of revealing that relativism’s practice is destructive the message of Jesus. Jesus came to show us the truthful way not that we are to show him the truthful way.

I’m confident that Dr. Martin knows how to put on the mind of Christ and not be shaken by other’s efforts to dilute doctrine, faith & morals. Synodality is the new buzz word of “wokism” and “diversity, inclusion, equity”. Keep the dialogue going; write, publish, and interview. There is a need to recognize intentional ambiguity and confusion of “Synodality” which cause the Faithful to question leadership’s motivation & direction.

"Paradigm shift" was a term I heard from the mouth of a Vineyard church
leader, who was under Jesuit influence.
He "paradigm shifted"himself into the alphabet soup group and is now married to an episcopal priestess.
Let us stay with the Faith once delivered to the Saints.
Repent and believe the Gospel,
Jesus Christ is the Messiah,
The Son of the Living God.
No shifting shadows in Him.

I am glad that a theologian like Ralph Martin, faithful to Christ and His Truth, cannot be cancelled nor lose his pension and shelter. And he speaks with clarity using simple English. Ralph, I have often said that when my father died at my tender age of 16, my sense of corporal safety and protection left with him. Good fathers instill a sense that all will be well as long as he is around. When Benedict and John Paul 2 were pope, I felt theologically protected. With this pontificate, I do not feel spiritually protected, nor do I feel spiritually challenged; I feel spiritually threatened. I know those are strong words, and I do not intend them to mean a loss of faith or even a loss of the Church. I love the Church. I converted April 4, 1994 after years of reading my way to the faith. I am simply stating what I feel to be the emotional state of many faithful Catholics. We depend on the leadership of those like you who are deeply learned in the faith, who do not seek the limelight, who measure their words with the discernment of the Holy Spirit, and who are people of prayer. Keep on doing what you are doing. You may get weary, but I believe you listen to God. The times are troubling, but we must put lead in our spiritual boots and stay in the ship. We will be delivered.
