Yes that cabin was really nice and I would love to have stayed a night. First time on chicken rock and I admit, I was chicken for sure but did not back out
Me and my dad have been to this exact spot we also camped in the cabins a little before chicken rock I was very scared because his jeep is massive 4 door I think on 40’s or bigger / fully built (at our house) jeep. We also explored some abandoned stuff at the top, pretty interesting to see all this old stuff!
My favorite part of this video is @ 15:55 Jeff says straight but points driver lol. It's too bad I missed this one, I hear a Rubicon trip is in the works, hopefully I can make that one!
I just watched another video on this and I agree..holy moly. Not sure I would want to do this one. I think I'd be walking as my husband drove. Another great vidoe~
Haha yea most people say that even after they’ve driven it already. Next week will be our third time to DV and every time we all say “I’m not doing that stupid chicken rock trail again” I’m still glad I did it
Nice job and great vantage point of the trail up to Chicken Rock. If I had seen this before I probably would not have run it this weekend, it was sketchy sh%t.
Yep, that outside leaning bump was a MF! The turn was anxiety of how much more of this is there was until I saw everyone and everything turned fun again lol
It’s not technically a one way trail. You could come from either side but I can’t even think about two people meeting in the middle. I think I’d just think who’s got bigger tires and what’s better… Top or bottom lol
@@IncompleteJeep came here from another video that was taken going the opposite way. Can’t even imagine what havoc that would cause if two groups were to meet in the middle…
this trail is oh fuq i've gone too far to backup, then ok lets go do this mutha fer and tell everyomne on earth i conqured one of the nastiest offroad trails on earth
I’ve been over the chicken rock many times. I love hanging out at Briggs camp.

I feel the same! Im glad I didn’t watch any videos before the trip!
Don't feel bad that little slip as you go up and around scares the crap out of you every time it slides.
The section before the corner makes me more nervous than the corner itself.
Is this a one way trail ?
