On the road, Nissan's Qashqai is a very comfortable to drive, and it's also well built and affordable. It offers a good choice of petrol and diesel engines and there's a four-wheel-drive option if you plan on some light off-roading, or want extra grip and stability to tow caravans or horse boxes. Nissan has a strong record for reliability, and mechanical and electrical problems are rare.

I've ridden in one recently. It has a reasonably high-quality fit & finish and seems to hold its own on the road. I dislike the fact that it has less interior space than a Megane.

@@uamade hi, in my country everyone say the 2.l petrol engine is not worth buying. its not really more powerful than the 1.6l and its way less reliable (oil consumption is high) and its fuel consumption is 2-3l higher than 1.6l petrol

    • @uamade
      @uamade ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@MrWWEHD17 I never had any oil consumption issues on MR20DE. Since I had the car new I followed a pedantic routine and I made sure I break in the engine properly. I was always doing the service on time and used the best oils available for the engine (ACEA A3/B4, MB 229.5). The engine saw mixed motorway and city driving. It also saw some german motorway driving with speeds of 160+ km/h. When I sold it with 100k km it did not have oil consumption or any other problem.

I’ve got a 2010 2.0L Acenta Petrol and and am very happy with it
Surprisingly comfortable with stunning suspension and not much road noise
      It’s still running amazingly well
The thing that puts me off buying the new ones is that I feel like they aren’t going to be as comfortable or reliable as they are only 1.2 litres or something similar they don’t come in 2.0L’s anymore

Best vehicle I have owned and the mileage was at 200k miles 2008 Qashqai 1.6 petrol with a manual transmission. Never had engine trouble and I love to push my rides really hard. The only issues I had were suspension related such as bushings, stabilizer links, ball joints, sub frame bushings, cv axles. Apart from that zero engine issues. I will definitely purchase another one in the future.

    Pros:-
1-Awesome Engine sound with low fuel consumption.
2-So quite & so comfortable so you get cheap luxury car and sporty at the same time.
3-If you want to drive at high speeds over 70 M/hr it doesn't vibrate even with 100 M/hr.
4-CVT gearbox and a cool thing though.
    Cons:-
    1-Boring driving as f*ck.
2-expensive car parts from the dealers.
3-the back seats are small and almost 90 degrees angle so it's not comfort.
    4-It's name Sucks.

my mums is a qashqai+2 1.5 dci 360 2013 model and the windows don't go up automatically and it doesn't make a noise when it's low on fuel I guess Nissan forgot to do these. When you get past the good ride tall driving position and the space & gadgets it isn't a well thought out car e.g. if you have the windows down and you take the key out of the ignition they won't go up and the wing mirrors won't fold away it's all manual.

It means that Nissan started selling the Qashqai in 2007 and stopped in 2013 since they started selling the new one in 2014

That's odd because on the 1.6 tekna 2008 with full extra it does all that yours doesn't, but the side mirrors are also manual. Maybe is an "extra" in the mind of Nissan. It even warn me once with a beep for the risk of ice on the street, but that even my Peugeot 307 2007 does it :)
