I've been getting up between 4:30 and 5:00am and journaling before work, instead of working out. I used to dread working out that early so I just wanted to remind everyone to make sure you enjoy waking up. Like she said it will make it so much easier.
I live in Austria/Europe and now it's 23:25 and my alarm goes off at 5:45. So I guess I really should stop binge watching Kalyn's videos now - otherwise I will fall asleep in school tomorrow :'D
I've often written morning routines for myself but it never actually occurred to me to put something fun on that list! I had the usual 'eat a healthy breakfast', 'get some exercise' stuff, but nothing 'just because'. Definitely gonna try that!
I used to be a nighttime person. I can only sleep after 1-2am. But now I start to become a morning person. And you're one of the big reason why. I can sleep and wake up a lot better. Bless you. I've been wanting to get up earlier as part of a healthy lifestyle overhaul, and my work conveniently switched my schedule to where I have to get up at 5am. And I have a sleeping disorder. The struggle is real. Also, Alarmy is a damn Godsend.

Since my son has started school, I'm trying to get up and ready to go out early. I went cold turkey (going to sleep at 2-3AM and waking up at 6/6:30AM, and drastically changed to sleeping at 10/10:30PM, and waking up at 5AM), and working out in the mornings. Yay for being responsible, and waking up early!

This summer I let myself sleep in until 7 or 8 when I didn't work, because it was summer! But I'm ready for my 5:30 (aiming for 5 am!) mornings when school starts!! Love the adulting series as always. My biggest tip is don't take NyQuil at 3am when you wake up with a cough when you want to be up at 6, it won't happen. Probably one of the only time I have ever slept through my alarm!!

THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED so last night I watched this video in bed and I thought I would try the alarm app. I honestly thought I would get up and scan the barcode and get back into bed. But, I didn't! I got up, scanned it, and then made my bed! I actually got up at 6:30 and now I'm not running around trying to get ready for class!

Wow I'm so amazed at the fact that I do each and every one of the things you said, and I came up with all of them on my own (aka before watching this video), it's like we were thinking about the EXACT SAME things!!! LOL one other thing that I like to do is like you said, prep everything the night before so your morning runs smoothly (and yes, I also leave everything out (outfit etc...) and sleep with my to-do list for the next day on my night stand next to my phone so that as soon as I wake up I know what to do, but as I was saying, I like to not just prep the night before but also prep in the morning for my night routine, so when I wake up, I like to fill up my diffuser with water and an essential oil so that when time for bed rolls around, I already have that to look forward to without having to think about refilling it, which I get lazy about and not do if i didn't do it in the morning.

This summer I let myself sleep in until 7 or 8 when I didn't work, because it was summer! But I'm ready for my 5:30 (aiming for 5 am!) mornings when school starts!! Love the adulting series as always. My biggest tip is don't take NyQuil at 3am when you wake up with a cough when you want to be up at 6, it won't happen. Probably one of the only time I have ever slept through my alarm!!

Other TH-camrs make morning routines that are so basic and so unrealistic and fake, i used to watch them and when my mornings weren't like the ones I watched I would get so depressed.

THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED so last night I watched this video in bed and I thought I would try the alarm app. I honestly thought I would get up and scan the barcode and get back into bed. But, I didn't! I got up, scanned it, and then made my bed! I actually got up at 6:30 and now I'm not running around trying to get ready for class!

Wow I'm so amazed at the fact that I do each and every one of the things you said, and I came up with all of them on my own (aka before watching this video), it's like we were thinking about the EXACT SAME things!!! LOL one other thing that I like to do is like you said, prep everything the night before so your morning runs smoothly (and yes, I also leave everything out (outfit etc...) and sleep with my to-do list for the next day on my night stand next to my phone so that as soon as I wake up I know what to do, but as I was saying, I like to not just prep the night before but also prep in the morning for my night routine, so when I wake up, I like to fill up my diffuser with water and an essential oil so that when time for bed rolls around, I already have that to look forward to without having to think about refilling it, which I get lazy about and not do if i didn't do it in the morning.

I woke up late this morning for school and during free time earlier I was watching your "how to be a morning person" video from about a year ago so I could get into the habit soon. SO weird that you posted this today. Lol must be a sign that I need a new routine!
