    Finally someone who explained this right on a civic. I also searched a few months ago couldn't find any thorough install vids. Thank you sir.

    Thank you so much for making this vid. I just followed your process and converted my 03 Civic to have keyless lock / unlock. Worked perfectly !!! Thanks for pointing out where you went for fob programming instructions.

    Thank you for a very thorough run-down. Gotta hit the junkyard and find a module now!

      Thanks. Yea at a pick n pull type junk yard you should be able to snag one cheap. We dont have many junkyards here local anymore, so i had to get this off ebay. Paid more than I wanted to, but was worth it anyway. Let me know if you have any issues.

    By any chance do you know if this type of OEM module could be installed on a 2001 integra?

    Great video, What kind of gauge wire did you add to make the pigtail longer?

    Tried following your guide exactly, wired up the harness exactly like you did. I get no feedback when trying to enter pairing mode/pushing buttons on a pair of remote/receiver that should have been pre-paired from the seller on ebay. Any advice?

    I know this is an old post but is there any way to get the wires used written out? The native colors on the receiver are Black, Blue/Orn, Yellow and Wht/Red. Which colors exactly translate to existing wires on the car?

    Any tips on how you remove the pins from the factory radio plug?

    • @ballsoutperformance
      @ballsoutperformance  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Use a small flat head or pick and you just lift up the tab inside the connector that holds the pin in.

    Does anyone know if the Civic 2003 LX 4-door automatic model already has a remote control since I bought it used and I am the third owner and they only gave me one key but the car only has to insert the key in the driver's door in the others it is not like it was remote controlled.

    • @qpoole90
      @qpoole90 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the LX model does not come with factory remote control unlock, just power locks.
      However, Easiest way to check is to pull off the panel where the cigarette lighter is and you should see this little black box that he is wiring in. That's the factory location for it. If it has that, you are good to go and just need to buy new remotes

    Do we need to program fob or it’s work without programming

    • @ballsoutperformance
      @ballsoutperformance  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Must be programmed. There are some good videos here on youtube of the programming procedure

      Watch it again. Theres a connector with a blue/orange wire. Its covered in the vid

      @@ballsoutperformance what if you don’t have the little unused connector with the blue and orange wire?

    • @ballsoutperformance
      @ballsoutperformance  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question. In that case, this method may not work for you. If not, you may need to install a universal aftermarket kit.
