    Good video. But try a lower frequency coil
    Like 9" 35 coil will do a lot better than that high frequency coil.

    Xp orx is an awesome machine. It has Almost become my main machine. I also have the 11 inch x35 coil. Its just as deep as the nox. Its even slightly deeper when running in 4 khz.

    Those XP tones bring back some good mems. Long days and nights of analogue hunting, from 9"/11" DD Deeeeep Adventis2, to 5x10" Elliptical Goldmaxx Power...No vdi baby, jest them good ole ears an' them zzzzippp zzzzipppp modulations y'all! I hear those Nokta Makro Gold Kruzers are a 'sharp' MD,; waterproof too.

    The elliptical coil loves coin deep in 28 khz with reactivity at 2 in my soil. Also lower the ground balance to 80 and it will go even deeper. Coin fast is super fast recovery speed.

    I have the 9 inch hf round coil. Its deeper than my elliptical coil like you are using. But the separation of the elliptical coil is unmatched by any machine I have used.

    Congratulations on your Deus purchase. My XP has been the best detector I have ever used. However it does have a learning curve. Its like no other detector I've ever. So give it time, you'll love it im sure. It's made for your style of detecting "Fast"!!!. The HF coil will probably drive you nuts if you intend to hurt it in a modern trashy area tho. The X35 coils will do you a better job in those areas. But like I've heard you say many times, you've gotta clear all the junk out of the way first. And you're right. And that's when you need to bring the HF coils out. I use my 9 inch X35 coil most of the time. Unless I'm hunting large areas, then I'll use the large one. You don't have to worry about separation with the Deus they all do very well. I did notice you had the sensitivity or gane as you referred to it, set very high. Don't be afraid to turn it down some to keep it from being to sparky. Looking forward to more videos. Good luck buddy

      Thank you for the great tips. I need all the info I can get. I will be getting the X35 soon.

    What do you think about using the ORX on the beach?

    Don’t get the 9 inch x 35 coil. The 9 inch hf round coil is what i have to recommend. Its way deeper than the elliptical coil and its just as deep as the 9 inch x35 coil. If you’re really wanting depth then go for the 11 inch x35 coil.

    Recently been looking at the legend detector and I own the simplex what is the difference in your opinion and does the legend out perform the simplex...simplex has been a great machine for me ...I've also seen the orx it looks good ...your videos are awesome 👍

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Legend outperforms the Simplex in so many ways I could write a book. The Simplex is a good detector but the legend is at a different level.

    I bought a orx and used it for about a hour and now it acts like it's locked up. Turns on but won't do anything. Coil is charged and so is The box. Never again will I buy a XP

      This can happen with any product from any manufacturer. I have heard this happening a couple times with different detectors. XP detectors have a 5 year warranty. Your case of it freezing up is extremely extremely rare.

    To really learn the orx. Go to TH-cam and watch the xp skill school with gary blackwell. He works for xp and is a genius at setting up the orx for different soil conditions. The orx is really a top notch machine once you learn it.

      I’ve been watching that channel also. It seems you get more depth with the HD coil when your up in the higher frequencies. Not sure why he’s using 14khz? (Honest question. Not being sarcastic)

    The faster you swing the ORX the better performance .......You really need to go by Good repeatable sound rather than VDI Numbers.
