    Please remember that before installing synthetic/Kanekalon hair you need to treat it with apple cider vinegar and warm water so that the agents in the hair do not irritate your skin and cause itching and bumps. There is a skin irritant in the hair that is alkaline and you need to neutralize it so soak the hair for like 15 minutes and that should do the trick.

    If you wanna make your dread extensions longm lovnt can you add extra hait at the end? About how far should you have it overlap just to be certain the hair won't unravel and end up disconnected

    • @eye-leenlove
      @eye-leenlove 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In the African American aka Black community (watch braiding videos or TH-cam ‘kanekalon hair braiding’ and you’ll see every single seasoned braider pronounces the ‘kuh-naaa-kuh-lawn’. Whatever other pronunciation exists out there wouldn’t even be recognized in beauty stores because the entire synthetic hair arena pronounces it as written above. It was so funny to hear her pronounce it so differently! Simply unheard of amongst insiders and synthetic hair connoisseurs…she’s damn right tho! Kanekalon hair is preferred amongst any other synthetic hair!!! It is known for its higher quality for braiding and heat resistance. It simply has a longer “life” on your hair.

    • @Niamhlovesmakeup97
      @Niamhlovesmakeup97 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i got about 12 out of each pack of mine, although mine were more sharpie thickness compared to these that are more pencil thickness, the thicker you make the dreads the less you'll get out of a pack of kanekalon hair x

      A Disciples Journey you can still back comb it and get the same effect but if the synthetic hair is a mix blend( which it sounds like it) it should still lock up and melt but it won’t melt as much as mine did! Does that make sense? Lol
