We are forever inspired by you. Thanks for teaching us to look beyond ourselves even on vacations. Sometimes when we come on vacation, we get sucked in with getting the perfect picture getting the perfect souvenir. How many things can we do before the trip is over. But it’s so much more than that. Sometimes we all just need to slow down. Thanks for reminding us that.
This is great and THIS is type of upload that should go viral. The girls did a wonderful thing and are leading by example. We should take note and give back when we can!
I’ve been watching every single short of yours and you both remind me of my parents and the way I grew up. My father is from Hawaii my mom is from Massachusetts(born)they met in California after my father had finished the Air Force in Japan and me and my sister look just like your children. I love how you respect the Hawaiian Islands/People and help others by sharing what you’ve learned🌺
May I ask how safe you felt traveling , I ask because my wife always wants to travel but always backs down when it comes to her feeling safe . And I want her to experience amazing places like this
I'm a female solo traveler - it depends where you are from and where you are going! Def do your research into other countries, but coming from the U.S, I often feel safer in other countries than at home. I went to Taiwan recently, which is one of the safest countries in the world. I felt so comfortable there! However, my experience in Turkey involved a lot of harassment and catcalling. It depends a lot on the culture. If you travel together, just be aware that she may have different experiences than you. I would never travel to India solo as a woman (even though I am Indian myself), but I know a lot of men who have amazing experiences there. Do research together, start somewhere safe, and be a good listener are my suggestions :)
Respectfully disagree. I am sure she asked his permission to show the video and his reaction. Please also consider that if this video helps him get more considerate and generous tourist groups it will also help him earn a better living for his family. Personally I think we should normalise crying - but that is a whole other topic.
One of the girls filmed (I didn’t) and he asked when I left if I can make a video of Bali (he knows I do social media) and I asked if I could share his story to inspire others to give back while traveling and he loved it!
That was beautiful! Leave the place a little better off then when you got there! I hope God blesses all of you!

🙏🏾🥹
lol
He’s done this for years
It was kind but you could have left out the video of him crying and your performative announcement in front of everyone. That's kind of gross....
No stop it. This was so genuine. She doesn’t come across as posting a man crying for views

@@KatKamalaniand I'm sure you didn't ask her to film it, it was just a surprise right?
Very cringe and done for the attention she needs.
The sweetest ❤
