I played the first 2 Black Ops games before this trilogy and both are great but there’s just something about the original Black Ops which makes it my favourite Fist-person shooter of all time. For me it was the perfect CoD, it had a fantastic, 10/10 campaign and zombies, and a near perfect Multiplayer, now I’m not saying there was anything wrong with the OG MW trilogy but since I played the Black Ops games before them, I preferred them a slight bit more

I love this story and how Makorov was not only calculated and smart, but always 10 steps ahead, I feel like that is more menacing and the whole conflict was also interesting

The Dust to Dust Dubai mission was a satisfying way to end the OG Modern Warfare Trilogy. The music was so good, that I had to look into it to find what instruments it used. The most common thing I can find, was that the music had some Arabian flutes in its ost. Represents the location for the final confrontation with Makarov.
Also represents the mw trilogy as a whole, especially mw2 and cod 4 since they were focused on the Middle East

I’ve always seen All Ghilled Up as the divergence point of COD. Timeline 1 is the OG trilogy, with Imran surviving the mission. Timeline 2 is the current trilogy, starting in 2019, with Imran dying from his wounds. Imran survived by pure luck. All Ghilled Up created two timelines
