Installing An EBAY Short Shifter To The Mk1 Audi TT

Welcome back to the Mk1 Audi TT build.
Amongst the plethora of of used parts that were purchased for the TT lies one we were very excited to install; the short shift.
With any road or track car you want quicker shifting times right? Yes, yes you do! A simple way to accomplish this is to install a what is known as a 'short shift kit' or 'short shifter'.
There are many different style short shift kits, but the TT was unlike one we had come across, as its modified from the gearbox end.
Even though the piece came off a Mk1 Audi TT BAM 225, it of course, didn't fit Kenny's....but we made it work...

Yes it's the forward - backward motion that's shorter 👍

Where has the ep3 been?

I sold the ep3 over a year ago, replaced it with the Boxster then the TT as the latest project

@DimZin unfortunately I hit a wall with the car. It was awesome but I felt I without boosting it there wasn't much more I could do with it. Do miss it though

@@ken_accelerate Yeah n/a is expensive to see noticeable changes on power. k24/k20 is a good choice for relatively good power but still won't reach boosted power numbers. I like n/a power and sound but i'll probably go with a turbo or supercharger after some time. How was the fuel consumption with normal driving? I've heard numbers like 6.5l/100 from people in my country.
