Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews I would love to hear your thoughts on Love, don’t be shy by Kilian. Another gourmand from Kilian, but loaded with caramel. What does your 👃🏻 think of this scent? :P
Hi Mr Jara, long time lurker. Just wanted to pop in to say this was one of the coolest video ideas I've seen. It's an incredible feat that a professional cook could distinguish the notes they smell. I wonder if a chef would have experience working with tonka bean and could detect it. Another video idea: Top floral fragrances with a professional florist? I would like to see their ability to detect notes and see what they think of them. (e.g. if a peony note smells like genuine peony, or neroli, etc.)
She is so adorable! And a good nose for such a young lady. I hope you have her on more videos and you two have a great vibe together. And I totally agree with Tiholta for number one. My wife smelled it and immediately fell in love and ordered me to get a decant. I am saving up for a full bottle. The rest of the list was great as well. I agree with everything but am on the fence with Cafe Tuberosa. Found the coffee very fleeting and the floral took over right away. But discovered some new things to sample in your list and well done! Thanks Sebastian!
Cool idea Sebastian! I love that the cookie business she owns is in the fight against human trafficking❤️such a huge problem in the world that way too many people seem to not be aware of and sadly many who do know don’t seem to care about. She’s your neighbor??!! What a lovely gal to have as a neighbor! I was a little bummed she doesn’t like honey, but cool that she remarked about personal preference. So many people can’t seem to grasp that these days. Great video 😘
Sebastian, this is one of my favorite videos that you have. Really enjoyed the breakdown of the list all of your guest comments and the way she pronounced licorice. Big fan is always
Ajmal's Abia has one of the most beautiful Vanilla, and as for gourmand fragrance, I really love Oud Bouquet by Lancome. Oud Bouquet smells like you're near an oven baking delicious pastries.
she's sober n sweet and has great camera presence! And as i always felt u hv the greatest collection of frags on TH-cam. Man every time u take out something new n more new n so on :)
I like the pre-sniffing idea as it was suitable for the long list of scents that needed to be covered in the video. Rachel did a very good job co-hosting this segment. Was most interested in her comment that the Atelier was more in your face while the Montale was more subdued 😳. Thanks!
I rarely comment on videos, but just wanted to let you know I am blown away by the work and thought put into this video by both of you. I loved the idea of bringing in an expert in a field where gourmand fragrances get a lot of inspiration from, I loved that she didn't know much about the fragrance houses, it made her unbiased selections more interesting, and I loved that you took the time to ask her what about the higher ranked ones distinguished them from similar ones that were ranked a little lower. I loved the professional chemistry you both had with each other, it was warm and made me feel relaxed, you seemed like good friends. I echo the comment that I could definitely see this becoming a series (florals with a florist, beachy/aquatic fragrances with a sailing fanatic/lifeguard/surfer/etc., citrus with a chef, etc. I think this type of video is a winning combination because it builds on the popular video idea of getting someone who is not as familiar with fragrance houses to give a more unbiased opinion of their impressions, but also adds that element of someone who has strong opinions because they are familiar with these notes in their everyday life. Cheers!
Thanks for introducing Cafe Tuberosa, Cardamom Coffee, Black Phantom, Intoxicated and Intense Cafe..I'm looking for a coffee fragrance and am gonna go scout for them! The only one I know so far is Black Opium which has good reviews but apparently is quite a common scent. Anyway, this vid has been such a joy to watch...thanks again!
So many delicious options! What a fun video. Thanks. I think someday I *will* pick up Casamoratti’s Lira. Her top choices are great. My favorite banana perfume (albeit *candy* banana) is Blackbird’s Y06-S. I would have added to this list Manakara. It’s tropical/fruity but also custardy. Passion fruit custard?
You have helped me find so many "cheaper" alternatives...like Tonka by Commodity (since I can't afford Feve Delicieuse) and Belgravia Chypre vs P.O.A.L. BUT...I have since acquired Portrait because I was tired of hearing everyone go on and on and on...lol. Truthfully, since I already owned Belgravia - I was a little let down by P.O.A.L. because I was expecting it to be so great there would be no comparison! The two are ridiculously close - I'd say Portrait is spicier and Belgravia is greener but the rose in these two are like - 99% the same! Anyway - thank you for your wisdom - it helps us poorer folks that also love to smell good...xox
Hi Sebastian I need you to know that you are the most knowledgeable reviewer out there. I did start my frag journey with Jeremy Fragrance but I graduated to you because of your content . Ambrosia by Royal Crown caught my attention as a brilliant gourmand but there are no reviews about that brand. Can you throw some light on Royal Crown.
Love it! Great guest! I also like hearing your opinions alongside hers as you seem to be more open to bolder spice (as am I) than Rachael. I liked her sense (scents) for nuance, however!
Lovely Rachel and personallity!Nice review with lots of scrumptious options. Now I have to buy a perfume choice online and cookies from Rachel. Thank you Sebastian.
Great ! Love cookies and fragrances -I'm french ;-) I buy blind Insulo a few weeks ago after one of your videos, and thanks ! One of my favorite vanilla fragrance !
james weaver Yes...but into top 3....Sebastian has his unique style of presentation including a) Product know-how b)unbiased reporting c)Viewer feedback n d)clean n clear communication. There are few areas to name n yes he is number one in the world on above but other factors matters too......these are my personal evaluation tat is non binding...
I only tried By Kilian Back to Black from the list a few years ago I had a sample of it, and I really liked it. I would very like to try Black Phantom since it released, but I still not had a chance to try it.
Nagy Timea I get a very sweet rum cakeish smell from it. The sugar and Vanilla. Then you get a bit of coffee and chocolate. It's delightful. On Kilians website, Cyanide is a ingredient in the fragrance. Perhaps... That's the twisted mysterious "black phantom" of the fragrance, explaining the skull on the box and the "momento Mori" written on the bottle.
I have read somewhere, that the skull on the box and the "memento mori'' was inspired of pirates. Because pirates in the 18th century used to wrote "memento mori" the bottom of the flag.
Really enjoyed this one Sebastian. I actually have a future sister-in-law whose older sister has a cookie shop and her name is Rachel too. A wonderful synchronicity to start my day! lol Now I'm hungry....
Es una lastima que casi todas esas fragancias sean prácticamente imposibles de encontrar en latino america. Soy fiel seguidor de tus vídeos. I LOVE ur vídeos gourmand fragrances are my favorite. 🍦🍩🎂🍪🍭🍫
Jaja, tanbien en USA es difisil incontralas para unos youtuberos es fasil por que, muchas beses los venderos o las companias se las envian, tanbien hay tiendas muy exclusivas
wow, awesome review Sebastian, she is so kind and adorable, very talented girl 😁😊, the way you ate the cookies i got hungry and i was wishing that it was me eating that yummy cookies 😍, keep it up Sebastian, it was a fun and enjoyable video, please bring her again.
Strangely once I started drinking coffee I no longer like the smell. A coffee note needs to be very mild and abstract for me to enjoy it. Now I just love the taste of coffee, but it used to be the opposite! I loved the smell of coffee when people made it. So weird.
Nice video with so much fragrances i own and love - numbers 20/19/17/14/12/10/9/8/7/6/5/3/2...13/20 Lol .We do have a similar taste ... for gourmands at least.I need to sample your number 1-never heard of it before. To be honest the only fragrance from your list i don't like is Tea for Two.I do like tea fragrances , but not this one. It's super spicy on my skin , with tons of star anice in the drydown...not my thing. SOTD Unknown Pleasures by Kerosene .... for some this one is a gourmand too...
@@ThePerfumeGuy Please do 🤗 Apparently they changed the packaging and the bottle design but the juice hasn’t been touched/reformulated and it’s available on their site again 🥳

Yes! Gourmand fragrances should have a review from someone like her.
Sebastian, this is one of my favorite videos that you have. Really enjoyed the breakdown of the list all of your guest comments and the way she pronounced licorice. Big fan is always
Eating cookies and reviewing gourmand perfumes is definitely a mood 🙌🏾🙌🏾
She is really really adorable and says authentic opinions about fragrances. Please make more videos with her.
What an enjoyable video! Rachel is a wonderful guest. This was a great idea for a review. Definitely checking out the cookies!

Slowly starting to love gourmand scents this is a good starting point for me. I liked Rachel too.
Banana in Dolce Gabana Sicily was divine! I miss it!

What a great guest!! She has great points and thoughts of the fragrances
Enjoyed this video very much. I am in love with caramel and vanilla in perfume so this was very helpful. Thank you and to your lovely guest.
Gourmand fragrances are my favorite! Love these videos on delicious fragrances!
You guys are great together! Awesome idea for a video. Really enjoyed this one and hope you bring Rachel back!

AWESOME idea for a video by inviting a baker to rank gourmands. Great list.
Wow Sebastian beautiful video, just love it. And having Rachel on too is most excellent. She is so lovely. Keep up the good work
Andy in Berkeley
I think Tom Ford Noir Extreme waranted a spot. Nice list anyhow. Cheers Sebastian!
Great video!! Back to black is the first fragrance that blew me away with the first sniff!!
Love it! Great guest! I also like hearing your opinions alongside hers as you seem to be more open to bolder spice (as am I) than Rachael. I liked her sense (scents) for nuance, however!
Love this video! Your guest was so lovely!
Black Phantom, Naxos, changing Constance and Angels share are my fav gourmand.
One of my favourite bars shaves or grates tonka bean on to their rum sours as a garnish......out of this world..Like almost nutmeg-like but better
London calling ... amazing video . Using our two senses . Smell and taste.
Lovely Rachel and personallity!Nice review with lots of scrumptious options. Now I have to buy a perfume choice online and cookies from Rachel. Thank you Sebastian.
I like the way she describes fragrances.
Great list,, aroma from heaven
Beaufort Lignum Vitae is a nice lemon cookie too, if you ever decide to review that house.
I had a sample of Black Phantom and I didn’t care for it. Maybe I’ll try it again when it gets cool.
I love gourmands. Thanks Sebastian.
What a cool idea for a video. She is adorable. ❤️❤️❤️
Gourmands!!!My favs!! So many I have not smelled.
I enjoyed this video a lot. Just starting to get into gourmand and vanilla fragrances so this video will be helpful to explore.
What a fun idea for a video! I keep hearing great things about Intense Cafe. Must try it soon.
Great review spotlight Sebastian.
I also love rose tea!
I also have a soft spot for hard working young people!
Warm wishes for Rachel. 🎂🙏😉🍀🇺🇸💯
Great video! I never seen you smile so much! She is great.
Great ! Love cookies and fragrances -I'm french ;-)
I buy blind Insulo a few weeks ago after one of your videos, and thanks ! One of my favorite vanilla fragrance !
You're the Best when it comes to Perfume ytber
Yay Tihota is my favorite vanilla too but I have to say SDV is a really close second for its boozy vanilla I'm surprised it wasn't in your countdown.
ahpeery all out of SDV And reformulations have made it weak but that’s not to say I won’t pick up another bottle in the future! 😄
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews - I hear you, I treasure my vintage, why oh why did they have to reformulate that one?!
This man right here always serves quality content
One of your best videos & she's awesome. My Lira bottle comes in tommorow
You are the man Sebastian.
Great guest, great video.
Just fell in love with #17 :)
Fantastic video, I'm surely going to buy a few
This lady sure do look like Kylie Jenner before the surgery 😲
I was just thinking that lol
Spot on call 😂👌🏾
I thought the exact same thing but didn't want to say it lol
This was a terrific video Sebastian, total artistry at work, so much passion. I would like to see Rschel on your channel again.
Always my Saturday night go to video! Love it.

I guess this was a semi mukbang fragrance review lol beautiful co-host!
Surprised not to see Coco Blanc or Feve Delicieuse in the top 20...did she get a chance to smell those? Great video as always Seb!
Can't include everything so there's room for a part 2 or 3 or 4. So stay tuned for more. And thank you for stopping by! :)

Amazin list! Interested in trying a lot of them!
Trully delicious review! Thank you😋
I have the entire Kerosene collection! The best! I’ve never found anything that smells like dirty flower factory!
I only tried By Kilian Back to Black from the list a few years ago I had a sample of it, and I really liked it. I would very like to try Black Phantom since it released, but I still not had a chance to try it.
Nagy Timea I've tried both. Black Phantom is better IMO. More complex, boozier. Back to Black is too honey heavy for me.
Nagy Timea black phantom is incredible. I absolutely love it.
I'm sure of it, because the notes are sounds fabulously. I hope that one day I could try it.
Nagy Timea I get a very sweet rum cakeish smell from it. The sugar and Vanilla. Then you get a bit of coffee and chocolate. It's delightful.

Even better new music!

Love her voice, bring here more frequently! She is hot too, beautiful woman, gorgeous smile, and she has good opinions and comments about fragances.
I’m positive she’d love Allure Homme Edition Blanche. ???
I think so! :)
Rachel is so lovely! Loved her, good nose also :) nice gourmand list :)
Please could you recommend an almond fragrance?
Try the Rolling In Love loads of almonds. 😄
@@ThePerfumeGuy thank you I will try to get hold of a sample
YSL Cinema is sooo almondy to me
I like the new intro!
Have you ever tried PG 10 Aomassai by pierre Guillaume? It's my favorite gourmand but I can't find it in the U.S. unfortunately
Cornelius Hamilton Actually love that brand but it’s very underrated and not hyped! I will check that fragrance when I get a chance! 😄
I need the montale cafe,,,,,
Sebastian, how come you’ve never reviewed Casamorati‘s ITALICA?
Maybe I will ha!! 😀
@@ThePerfumeGuy Please do 🤗 Apparently they changed the packaging and the bottle design but the juice hasn’t been touched/reformulated and it’s available on their site again 🥳

Awesome idea!!
What a great combination of opinions! Props to her cause and you for bringing it and her to light!
Xerjoff Lira is really delicious like you wanna take a bite of where you spray the fragrance 😂😂😂😂
ABSOLUTELY true! ;)
Awesome video!!!
Great video
Please, more videos with Rachel! 🖤
Sadly I don't know where Rachel is these days. She no longer is my neighbor! :(
@@ThePerfumeGuy that's too bad! Does she have a public social media?
