I am so glad you reminded me to bring a second camel back to every gas stop on FTR. I can't believe how stupid I was at gas stops for decades to rehydrate.
I was in the first gulley for over 45 minutes. People we're literally giving up, dropping their bikes, and sitting in the trail. There was sort of an alternate line that you could maybe side hill but when I took a run at it 2 people were blocking it and I'm not skilled enough to make it through human obstacles. Dellulo Bypass was so chewed up I don't think I could have gotten out of there without assistance from other riders. It was so chewed up when I came through. I was at Chicken Fight Extension for over 2 hours. It was a single file line all the way up. I found an alternate line and made a handful passes but only to be choked up again on the next part of the hill. The race is hard, but all those damn people in the way make it even harder.
Shout out from Canada! I know you always want to do better, but you gotta consider an effort like that to be a victory! I can't imagine the fatigue....love the channel.
The fact that it sucks and is hard to do is what is fun. It's the challenge and overcoming the hard stuff. Not a sport for those without grunt and drive.
Go to the gym work the muscles 💪 in your legs but every thing is better, stronger with a good core sure you could do a few sit ups pull ups at home same with some dumbbells work the arms shoulders but cramps are caused by dehydration a extra camel back ready for fuel stop No shame in pulling out but you gonna finish that 3 day Enduro coming up💀🤔 No shame
Can't see the fun in these events. Look like they would destroy your bike and yourself. In NZ we have many fast flowing , single track, rides through forest and deep bush that allow for lots of bar to bar racing Good luck.

Back in the day the enduro clubs would have a couple kegs of beer if ya finished. Do youse guys at least get a couple Bud Lights when your done? Do you also get a free t-shirt with your entry fee? The stream section and the dirt road back looked doable for this old man. I alway get nasty cramps from riding wimpy dual sports and I drink a ton of water, eat electrolyte tablets and leg cramp tablets. I guess at 6’-7” I’m not supposed to be on a dirt bike. Great video as always. You and your fellow competitors are surely some sick riders. I’ll give you $1,000 if you can get Brandon to ride an event with you.
I understand the Hard Enduro thing, but I never understood race organizers planning only 1 route for everyone around the obstacles. They make sure 95 percent of riders don't finish. Stupidest thing I ever saw !!

Hills never look that bad on video. You're right, it looks like you're just doing a burnout but in reality, it feels like it's almost vertical
