    I am so impressed with your first year of budgeting. I am watching for the first time, and I subscribed because I want to see your progress. May God bless your goals.

    Awesome cash condensing. My Netflix went up about $4.00. It just goes to show that this budgeting works when we remain consistent. Happy New Year🥳

      Thank you! Happy New Year to you too!
      What the heck is up with that?! Honestly, if my kids didn’t watch it, I’d get rid of Netflix altogether.

    I really enjoyed this
    Very well done to you both for the efforts made on debts, it feels like a long road but you made huge progress In just 12 months!

      Thank you so much! It does feel like the longest road, but there’s thankfully a light at the end and that’s what’s keeping me motivated to do more and more!

      Honestly, I think we’ll be putting most toward our trip this summer. We have to bank about $3500ish just for flights and a car 😭 thankfully both places we can stay either family. It’s going to be a huge expense tho that I’m honestly not used to paying for up front. That kind of thing is ehh we’re so far in debt. Wanna go somewhere? Oh yeah we’ll just put it on the credit card. Not great! lol we still have a tax return and hogans bonus coming in the next couple of months. Well your a good chunk of those toward debt.

    Maybe if you round up, so instead of budgeting, 132 budget, 135, and that will give you the extra buffer that you would need in your bills account to cover the extra that you were unaware of or the increases

    • @StrappedForCash
      @StrappedForCash  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s a good idea. I was doing that for awhile but then never had any singles LOL and at the time I wanted the difference to go to my other envelopes. We do have a bit of a buffer in our acct but it’s not too significant

    Idk if you're aware but the older hundred dollar bills can be worth quite a bit more than face value because they're so rare now. So my advice is to hang on to them and sell them

    You owe 1/4 of a million dollars in debt i freak out because I owe $600 i would never let my debt get that high there is absolutely nothing that would make me spend that amount of money

      Here in the budgeting community, we support each other and don’t shame. It’s not helpful.

      @@rocknrobudgets im not trying to shame I'm just saying I can't fathom spending that amount of money on anything unless it's a medical bill

      60% of that is my mortgage. We don’t actually have 1/4 million in consumer debt.
