If it sat about 4 inches lower, it’ll look even better. Just imagine these little cuties slammed, given the Mooneyes treatment, with a hopped up engine. Say, a 4 port head, fast road cam, stroker crank, high compression pistons, branch manifold and ITBs.

The exhaust note should be worked upon. Doesn't match the original President/Padmini exhaust note. The Muffler (Dholki) needs to be changed to get the perfect output. Overall, an outstanding piece of work. Particularly, liked the Aircraft like Start buttons and the Pull start.
That's a diy exhaust built on purpose per request. Lot of ready mades were available. Thanks for the feedback 👍🏻
Some orange strip or hint of orange color on bonet or front side of the car will enhance the look.

May I say, I too have a Premier Padmini 1100 in running condition. It is 1985 make.
I have a problem with the brake and not functioning properly. I think the Brake Master Cylinder Kit needs to be changed. Can you suggest where I can get the kit. I am in Siliguri, West Bengal.

@@dipen.nisar.autovlogs I'm sure lot of brainstorming went into this project and some bits are truly well thought out like the side turns integrated on panel strip(and love how the strip has been shortened too) and rear number plate illuminators.. So those pedals looked out of place.. Any plans on installing air-con? How easy was to secure parts for engine..

They are not alloys. They are stock rims itself. But widened.

I dont own it. My Friend Sandeep owns it since the time it was restored. Sandeep is sitting next to Faisal when he is driving the car :) and directing Faisal for gear changes etc

Rto I think was done for another 5 years so 2024. Restoration cost was 3 lakhs plus. And time was 1.5 years plus.

Not everything. Only exhaust is the issue. But his is not too loud all the time. Only when we rev it hard

is there any performance increase with esteem carburettor
there isn't a Drastic change, but yes the engine breathes much better plus better fuel supply compared to Stock / original, aids/compliments to the free flow exhaust.

Wish you had expended your energy and intellect on something more worthy, say a Mercedes w124 or a Toyota Corolla ( 1980 ), a good number of which were on Bombay's streets back in their day. I have seen late 80s Corollas, Crowns, Bluebirds, Accords, Sunnys and many more in a woeful condition through sheer neglect and apathy. These cars are worth their weight in Gold. Even the early model Maruti 800 if restored to its original would get a new lease of life. Hope you expend your talent on these cars. Nursing a 50 year old back to health makes more sense than showering expensive treatment on a 100 year old. Just a museum piece. But if are happy with your Padmini, then who am i to deny you that pleasure. It has great sentimental value for you. All the best.
